  • A very valuable upgrade for my older computer

    I have an older home built computer, built in 2004, running Windows XP and wanted to upgrade the memory from 2GB to 4GB which is the maximum for my machine. My plan was to then upgrade to Windows 7, which I use at work and like very much. I use financial programs which tend to use a lot of memory and from the first time, with the expanded memory these programs ran faster. And now I can, with very little investment, enjoy a much better performing computer.

    Installed this memory in my Mom's PC - an old school Windows XP Dell that originally had only 256 MB RAM installed - so, obviously bumping it up to 2 GB made a huge difference! Mom is very pleased!
