    After 8 seasons William Petersen leaves and Laurence Fishburne arrives. 24 episodes some very good extras, sad farewells etc.

    This season is very good in that it intorduces replacments for certain cast members. They work very well and mesh with everyone. Lawrence Fishburne does a spectacular job as a new to the group. My wife and I only watch them on DVD and not during their orginal airdates. Worth a look
