BLUF: this is a very nice set of sharp knives. My 2 negative stars are simply for the packaging. I haven't bought kitchen knives in years; however, the 2109 Black Friday event(s) pushed my to replace my old worn out (read cheap) knives for a great price. They arrived today. Packaging: I'm fairly proficient at opening anything. First thing I noticed, once you got the product out of it's cardboard box is that the packaging is the pressed plastic with guide bolts. No worries because I have an industrial set of scissors. I had to make 4 x separate cuts to get the knives to release at the handles (pull knives from the handle part--kinda important). The pressed plastic is also very sharp and kept slapping my hands and fingers. (-minus 1*) I was able to get all the knives out of the plastic hell, but not without injury. I had little tiny cuts all over my fingers, transferring my blood to the clear plastic. These cuts were not from the knives, but the plastic packaging. I've always considered my fingers hard to cut (work outdoors, outdoor tools, play guitar), but this pressed plastic made short work of my fingers. (-minus 1*) Once I did a very small bit of First Aid, I took a look at the knives. Not heavy and well balanced. I took my measuring device (a tomato) and they produced very nice slices. Overall, great product. Just be prepared (gloves) for frustration induced packaging.

I was able to purchase these knifes on sale and the price was much better than identical item on a well known internet site. Knives are sharp and cut well. Balance good but will see how they hold up to long term use. Like the metal handles. Quite pleased so far with purchase.

I wanted a good set of knives for years; yet I am very frugal and didn't want to pay the cost associated with such. I found this set as a My Deal since I'm a Best Buy credit card holder. I always heard Cuisinart made excellent quality products and this was a true bargain. Best Buy offered this set and two more varieties by the same brand at an exceptional price. It definitely was a deal I couldn't pass by. The knives are sturdy and made of stainless steel. I especially like the fact they are seamlessly all one piece; not like some which have a handle and a blade which eventually come apart. These knives have sharp blades that do not dull quickly and are easy to sharpen. As a bonus, they all come with covers. The handles have a bumpy texture allowing slip-proof, easy use. I love my knives! After using, my daughter wants a set too.

The knives feel and work just as good if not better than other more expensive knives. The quality of craftsmanship is excellent. They have excellent sharpness and weight to get the job done in a breeze. Great product at a very good price!!

High quality. Lightweight. They are sharp and have a good trip. I bought them on a Best Buy Daily Deal normally $99.99 for $29.99.

Got these knives during a big sale. Couldn't pass up the price and I am glad I bought them. They are good sharp knives that are well balanced. They match another set of Cuisinart knives that I have and are just as good as those.

Got these deal of the day Cuisinart 6 piece Knife set Stainless no rust and look and feel great not TOO heavy but not cheap feeling. Wife loves these hanging on the wall magnet they look SHARP, no pun intended.

We had to replace our knifes and this was a great deal. Wish there were a few steak knifes as well but for prepping meat, fruit and veggies, these knifes are awesome!

These knives are extremely sharp out of the box. We have had them for about a month and they have worked well for every cutting job. They also have a nice appearance.

Excellent set of knives are very sharp and good looking. Dishwasher safe and comfortable grip when using. These are my son's new favorite kitchen knives.
