    These knives are looked pretty good and sharp when I bought them, but they wear down very quickly and need sharpening every other month or so.

    This Cuisinart six piece knife set is average. Was a good price when purchased, but you get what you pay for. It is nice to have the blade covers.

    The knife set is what I expected. I consider it a good set. More importantly my wife likes it. I like the fact the handle and blade are one piece and some have the traditional blade and some have a serrated blade.

    We're baffled by glowing reviews. Quantity trumps quality with these. Hollow handles and thin blades make these lightweight without a balanced feel. Couldn't slice a tomato unless sharpened first. As a starter set these are adequate but no way should these normally retail at $99.

    This is a good value if you get them on sale. I'm not an expert non Knives however they seem a little lightweight to me. We will see how they perform after sharpening when needed. They work well now.
