    These were a deal of the day and since my old knives were looking sad I thought I would try these. First of all, so pretty. Second, so very sharp! High quality metal too. Which leads me to to the fact they are heavy. The handle primarily is super heavy. But I love this knife set. And it comes with knife covers too so no one stabs themselves.

    Wife hasn't hit me with a stick as of yet so these must be working as intended. I see them in the dishwasher when I go to put dishes away so she's using them. My food is prepared in appropriate proportions so they must be working. Still shiny and new looking, must be good stuff.

    Cuisinart 6 piece knife set has been a really good deal. The knives came sharp and are very full tang, one piece construction. I have always loved german steel for knives and other weapons. I bought a discount knife block on e-bay all I need is 8 one piece steak knives and I will have niece knife set. I recommend it.

    Good knives. Recommended if you need new, sharp ones to replace your old, dull ones, as I did. There is a good variety in the set and the plastic protective guards are a nice addition, both to keep the knives sharp and also for safety.
