needed a blender for making smoothies. easy to clean with a min amount of parts. works just fine

So far, so good. It works like a charm, and is super powerful. Only thing I'm a little concerned about is last week, the motor smelled like it was overheated on only the third use. Time will tell.

This blender is easy to use and very powerful unlike other products in similar price range. Looks very nice too.

Not too difficult to clean. We like the sturdy glass blender. Silver base is a little large. Pleased with the Cuisinart performance.

Bought this on sale for my fiance, as the previous (really cheap) blender wasn't doing a good job making smoothies. She loves this blender and uses it daily. I'm a bit worried about the glass pitcher breaking, but it seems pretty sturdy. I'd recommend this, as an option, to at least consider for anyone looking for a decent blender.

I must admit I've only used the product once and it was for a frozen fruit smoothie. I put the liquid in first as instructed, then the frozen strawberry and banana pieces. I eventually got there....but it took several attempts and almost appeared as though it wasn't working. Fruit just went to the sides. So I was disappointed, but will keep trying.

Sturdy, good looking blender. Does a good job but not the best for smoothies when using frozen fruit blending with milk or yougurt etc... The base seems a little large for the power offered. The power and blending buttons dont seem stable enough to last as long as you would expect. This blender does the job, but not as well as it should. When all is said and done, you really cant buy an above average smoothie blender for less than $90. I would only reccommend this blender if simple blending was more important than making smoothies and advanced foods needing blending

sad to say that this was being discontinued by best buy. glad i was able to find it nice and cheap because of that. works great

Replaced blender to add to the RED accents in my kitchen. Use daily for smooties and the ice crushing setting is super!!!

I make smoothies with powder, juice, yogurt and frozen fruit. It wont blend the frozen fruit if placed last and leaves powder on sides with out mixing and I have to use a spoon to scrape sides. Once the frozen fruit is pushed down it does OK but still leaves powder on sides. I have a handheld blender that makes smoothies faster and easier that cost 1/4 of this blender. It is large with a large opening which is useful. One other thing, it was advertized as having a stainless collar but mine is plastic coated with a thin stainless cover or shell. Not even sure its not just painted stainless.

This happens to be a great blender for the money! It also looks great in my kitchen!

We used to own a kitchen aid blender and replaced it with this unit. It is glass and stainless steel, unlike most blenders that are plastic. Very user friendly and great size for our small family.

I purchased this blender as a replacement for a different brand blender which broked after many uses. The new blender is much powerful and durable than the old ones. It also has stainless steel base which match other apparatus in our home kitchen. Highly recommending.

I bought this for my wife for Valentine's Day because it's what she wanted. She's used it quite a few times now and is really happy with the product. No complaints yet.

Real glass with a solid base! Works better than similar machines we've bought at many times the price. Had it for several months now and am still grateful I bought it.

Got this blender to replace a cheapo one and a broken ice crusher. Chose this over a 16 speed Oster because this one just seemed to be better built. My wife is thrilled with how well this blender crushes ice and is so easy to use and clean and it also mixes very well.

Well built machine, really make things easier then the other one I had. Just what I needed, you will be able to count on it as I have so far. LOVE IT!
