Can't get my wife to take it out of the box.

So, I bought her the gold edition with the figurine. I thought she would take it out of the box and display it. Nooooo, it's still in the box on a shelf almost a year later. Look at him! He's tough. He should be covered with a layer of dust, not protected in the original packing. I marked ease of use as excellent, but really, how can I use something that was made to be looked at when it's still in the box? That plastic window just isn't good enough.
