Overall highly recommend using the Geek Squad for your home theatre issues. Twice I’ve had them out, first on initial setup and
now after having two different satellite techs changing out my tv service. Things were not exactly right after their installations. The Geek Squad corrected what they had setup incorrectly to get my sound issues corrected and make sure of the tv setup on screen. And they answered some questions I had on possibly doing a few things wrong on the setup guide trying to correct some of my issues. Don’t hesitate to get an appointment with them so that you mat enjoys your viewing entertainment.

Previously had Geek Squad come out to connect my TV and sound system. Once they left it never work correctly. It was so bad the kids prefered not to use the sound bar. Came back to Geek Squad and complained they said to call Samsung. I did this several times and never got the system working correctly. Came back to geek squad and they finally sent some one out. They had to research my warranty plan. Evidently I had an old plan. The managers were very nice and patient and listened to everything I had to say. The finally got everything squared a way and scheduled the guys to come up. If I remember correctly they were bothers and with in about 2 seconds knew why my system was not working correctly. The problem was the original tech did not hook the system up correctly. The funny thing is I asked him questions before he left because it didn't make sense to me but he assured me this was the best way to connect things. Bottom line is the guys that came out this time were great and things have been working as I originally expected them too. My kids no longer complain. I wish these guys had come out orginally

My music system stopped working. I'm not especially tech illiterate, but I could NOT get Sonos, Alexa, Eero, my phone, my TV, and my speakers to work together to solve the problem. The Geeks were punctual, knowledgeable, quick to understand the issues, and persistent in their effort to resolve them. When they were done with that, I was one of those, "Hey, while you're here..." customers. They happily helped with those small questions and matters as well. Throughout, they were friendly, respectful of my crib, and entirely pleasant to work with. My Total Tech membership is one of the few things that's almost a pleasure for me to spend money on.

The first time the individuals came to install the new TV and Headphones, they were late and did not have the parts needed to complete installation. The second time they came, they were on time and correctly installed the TV, but did not install the headphones. They said they would come back to install the headphones, but they have not come back yet and the headphones do not work. However the TV works fine,

The individual (Leo) arrived on-time and was very knowledgeable about our set up. He helped diagnose the problem and talked us through several alternatives. As a result, we are purchasing a new home theater for less than we paid for the one we set up 18 years ago.

they did the best they could . they couldn't get the door bell to ring with the house chimes like it did before but they were able to have alexa to notify when someone is at the door

Between Gina at the store and Trevor from the squad who made the house call, they fixed my tv/wifi problem. These two very helpful people were interested in getting to the bottom of the problem and clearly went the extra mile in solving it. Their advice and ideas were a great help to bring my Best Buy theater system back on line. Although I don't want another situation like the one they solved, I now know which very helpful experts to see about it.

I have been a Best Buy member for over 15 years, and have received the best products and efficient technicql service. I did not believe you could get any better until my last Geek Home Visit. The tech reorganizeed my entire programming system and brought an old lady up to the 21st Century with the professionalism of a tech giant and the personna of a grandon. Amazing new life. Thank you

My AV receiver had “no sound, no video”. The receiver was found to be at fault in a technician review on 5/16/24. David from the Geek Squad was sent to confirm the receiver was at fault on 5/31/24. Fortunately David was able to get the entire system working during his consultation. David believes the cable box should be replaced if I have issues in the future. Thank you David!

Usually, the geek squad can really help out, but this was one time where they weren’t sure what to look for. I was having trouble with my TV and that I had volume, but no picture. The geek squad initially set up my home theater some years ago and they should’ve just told me to check the back of the box where everything is plugged in to make sure they were plugged in correctly, but they did not. They just said it was a Spectrum issue or I needed a new cable Otherwise I would’ve had to pay someone to come out. I finally found the issue out myself and fixed. It took all the cables out and reset them, and that solve the problem. I spent a few hours between trying to call the geek desk and actually driving to the store to speak to the geek employees.
Everything would’ve worked out if the geek squad on the phone would’ve just said check your box and make sure the connections are solid.
Very disappointed since I pay a lot of money for the service

This review is for the 11/17/2023 appointment. It was supposed to be a tv repair since 2 previous Geek Squad appointments did not resolve multiple issues. I was getting an error message whenever I tried to connect to Disney+, screen randomly going black, connection taking more than 10 seconds. However, they sent a regular Geek Squad technician, Darius. Thankfully, he was able to fix the issues!! It’s been 3 days and my 2 tvs are working as they should be. Thank you Darius!

Geek squad was able to figure out my issue of why my upstairs tv didn’t work - needed stronger WiFi signal to spread out thru the house. He solved it and now we have not issues.

The store through which we ordered the service had serious employee issues which caused them to cancel our service four times. We know and understand the problems they had, but it was a serious inconvenience on us over a period of two weeks. They finally sent out a subcontractor, who solved the initial problem, but then we had to replace a piece of equipment that had gone bad and they didn't have the equipment. We had to go to the store to buy it. Feels very unprofessional.

Relaced the power strip and reconnected all of my devices. All in good working order. Very personable and knowedgable. As well as being promt to arrive. Also took the old device away for recycling.
