This battery back-up is good for those who do not have alot of things to plug into their computer systems. There are four outlets that have surge protection in addition to four that have only backup. Be sure to calculate your needs before you buy.

outstanding product, gets the job done and doesn't take up much space

I have a gaming desktop with 2 screens, bought this item because I work with design software and I didn't want to lose the work done by a power outage and to protect my PC from an over load. I thought it was going to be able to handle both screens and let me work for a decent amount of time. But the power of the battery is only enough for 1 screen and the PC. It gives you enough time to finish some work, save it and shut down the computer. But don't expect to be working for a couple of hours.

Great battery for the price. I would recommend this battery backup.

Plenty of well placed power sockets, good lasting power

After losing 2 computers in 2 years to power issues, I finally got the message! When purchasing my second computer, I also purchased the CyberPower Battery Back-up System. At the same time I also purchased a computerized embroidery machine. It was heavily advised to plug it into a back-up system to protect it. I didn't have to be told twice at that point. I've been very pleased with this battery back-up system. So far I've had 2 electric issues in which the system saved my computer and embroidery machine. Thank goodness! There are no cons to this product so far. I'll not be without one ever again.

Everything needed for the equipment I am using now

This is an easy to install, easy to use power protection system at an affordable price. I use this to protect all my office equipment, and Internet gear. We often get lightning strikes and I've lost cable modems before. I've lost nothing with this system and it has a generous battery back up if the power goes out.

A demented squirrel sacrificed himself on transformer and killed power to our house at THE WORST possible time. Not only was I able to finish the document via the light from the night lite I keep plugged into this along with the computer and the screen, I was able to save and e-mail it in before the deadline.

Just happened to be on sale the day after my street took a lightning strike. Never thought in a million years lightning could zap my electronics. It did! A simple power surge created by a low lightning strike shorted out my flat screen, my PS3 and totally fried the Verizon cable box! Had I purchased one of these prior...I wouldn't have had to buy all new. Researched then bought one of these the very next day. As stated above, you just never know and this could save computers, tv's and anything else of value.

This is my second one, I purchased this one for my step-daughter's computer after owning one on my computer for almost a year now. Where I live there are occasional interruptions in the electricity and this keeps the computers from getting damaged by these short blips in the power. They also give me time to save any work and shut the computer down properly, which is nice. This wont keep your computer running very long without power, but does provide plenty of time to save and shut down.

I was having trouble with my PC which was already plugged into surge suppressors, every time my condo's air conditioner cycled off. This may have been due to lower AC voltages from the power company during the summer heat. This product does a great job of isolating the power and keeping it regulated with the battery backup features. I had tried several other ways to "smooth" out the power but this was a great solution for less than $50. I have not had even one problem since I started using it.

Like I said in the summary, this product definitely keeps your electrical equipment safe. When there's a power outage, I have no fear about my stuff getting damaged. I'm so glad I bought this!

Bought this after trying to purchase a used ups and getting frustrated and then found this one on sale for almost the same price as a used one!

We bought this UPS AFTER we lost our computer in a storm. The surge protector we thought we had our computer hooked into was actually just a power bar. Don't make that mistake. This Cyber Power UPS is easy to understand how to plug into it. and it will give you peace of mind. I do wish it was a bit smaller because it won't fit just everywhere, so you have to keep that in mind, They do make a narrower one which might be better in some places.
