Customers are pleased with the Gamer Master Desktop's performance and graphics card, citing its speed and ability to run high-graphic games smoothly. Many appreciate the significant upgrade in gaming capabilities this computer offers. However, a notable drawback is the lack of an optical drive, which several customers have pointed out as a significant omission. The absence of this feature is a recurring concern among users.

I purchased this computer online and picked it up in store. The only downside I noticed was the fact that when the employee handed me the box it appeared already open. When I got it home I found that is was indeed opened and then returned but nothing was taken out of the box itself. So everything was fine. It's just I was told it was 'new' not 'open-boxed'. Other than that small mishap, the computer runs like a dream and lets me perform all of my professional editing needs. Has plenty of inputs, runs quietly, and looks sexy! I'm satisfied!

You will love this computer if
You believe in stock computers
You don`t want to buy custom cooling systems
Do a mix of production and gaming
You use 1440 or 4k monitors
Pros
Ryzen 1700x with stock liquid cooler easily overclockable to 4.2Ghz
Mutliple HQ gsync display capable and a beast in directx12 games
Production focused but still quite a good gaming computer (Runs all games I have tried at 80 FPS+ averaging round 100)
Very large Computer with great cooling systems and room to expand
Amazing bang for buck
Cons
Very small SSD (get another one dirt cheap)
No extra PCIex16 ports (at least in my build)
Very Slow RAM 2133 (Ryzen technology really benifits with high speed ram but this is another one to buy)
Keyboard sux
P.S.
Came with GTX 1070 armor OC
Like previous reviews said does not come with optical drive and no slot for addition but has so many usb outputs
Have a good time playing games while rendering in the background

The computer is a little larger than I expected but not overly so. The performance is fantastic, and thanks to the SSD, it boots very quickly.
Two small issues..
When I got it, the larger hard drive wasn't recognized, the cable was pinched and had to be rerouted. Easy fix.
I found that it rebooted randomly. Changing the cooling from active to passive in the windows power options corrected this. (this is most likely a Windows problem)
Once these things were done, the system screams.

A Huge Come Up For Me!

I am a videographer/editor/Youtuber and editing videos have always been a cumbersome job for me. On my 1040 G1 Elitebook it took hours to render videos that takes 10 minutes on this computer. And I slice right through 4k footage where I couldn't even touch it on the G1. Awesome computer! I wish it had Wifi hardware installed. But that was a simple fix, I just had to buy a Wifi receiver.

Good PC

This is a good starting computer for it's price, it however does not come with a optical drive and if your PC were to get wiped, you will need to buy a new case, take the parts out and slapped them AND a optical drive into a new tower.
Other than that, I play all of my games on ultra at ~60 FPS. I went from playing games on a duo core, integrated graphics pc to this beast of a machine. 10/10.

The computer is a great choice for me even though I'm not a gamer... It's a work horse for me and it removes all the sluggishness that my off the shelf computer had. Very fast startup. When the desktop appears you can start using it right then... There was a conflict between the listing and what I actually got. Best Buy stepped up to the plate and resolved it quickly and to my satisfaction. I'd like to point out that this computer does not have a CD/DVD drive... consider that when buying...

Just happened to find this gem for $300 off! at $1200, this rig is phenomenal. as others have said, there is no optical drive. this is a fault on Best Buy's part. though, while unfortunate, it really is outshone by this beast of a rig. Keyboard, neat, but who prefers that silly half enter button? shame really.

I have had the computer for about less than a day but I have put it up against some heavy benchmarks and also very demanding games it has held up really well. The keyboard and mouse included are pretty good and I really like how they included about 3 extra fans inside the computer to keep good keep good airflow and allow the machine to run much cooler.
