Within hours of the setting up the PC and using it, I noticed a problem: the video card sounded like a wood chipper when a heavy graphics demand was placed on it. THEN, the DP port on the card went out and I had to switch to HDMI. The second week of July, I was traveling, so I held off on requesting a replacement video card. When I returned from summer travels, I noticed that the video signal would go out (the sound kept going, but the monitor went black for five seconds. the WORST part is that it happens intermittently which makes it a bear to diagnose) during gaming sessions. Obviously, this is unacceptable for a gamer. In October I finally got a replacement video card and installed it. For about a month, the video signal worked great going through the DP port. Then, the problems started all over again. First, the DP port stopped working and I had to switch to HDMI (the video quality isn't all that different, so I don't know WHY they even HAVE a DP). THEN the intermittent blank screens started in all my games; some worse than others. Ironically, one of the older games I play - Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire - has the WORST results with the screen going blank for five seconds about every few minutes or so, making it completely unplayable. So now I have a brand new PC less than a year old that I have to send back to the manufacturer - ON MY DIME - that is essentially a refurbished PC that doesn't even work right. This is one of the worst experiences I have had with a company and their response to my inquiries has been appalling. DO NOT BUY A CYBERPOWER PC. Check the Better Business Bureau comments rather than the Google reviews; those Google review MUST be bots that they are using to try and balance out the negative comments. I'm grateful that I didn't spend more than I did on a Cyberpower PC. I read some reviews on BBB that talked about $3k - $4k builds that were crap from the get go with very poor customer support. It's not worth the hassle. Spend a few extra bucks and get a gaming PC from a more reputable source. I'm shocked that Best Buy even CARRIES products from this company. I'll be reaching out to Best Buy directly as well to discourage them from continuing to carry products by Cyberpower PC.
