exceeded my expectations!

so i wanted to wait a few months to write a review about this computer. i must say it it amazing the liquid cooling is whisper quiet, the 32gigs of ram is totally overkill considering i don't do any 3D rendering of any kind, but i was looking for future proof computer at least for the next 4 years or so, and this is it.
case design is sleek and simple no CD bays (you can always get an external drive for 30 dollars.) it also has a nice window on the side the power supply and 2tb HD is hidden by the design of the interior and the window, but has the ssd visible. cable managment is pretty clean no complaints there. it could use more LEDs inside but oh well.
the GPU is a monster, for the longest time i was set on Nvidia hearing about all the driver issues with amd but i thought i would take a chance with this. its not better then a 980 BUT for 100$ less its a way better deal and its only 10 frames or less compared to the 980. most games i play on 1440P over 60 frames no problem, with maxed out settings and AA off and 1080P is a breeze. the fans on the GPU do get kinda loud, but if you are playing a game i doubt you will hear anything from it. but you can tweak them with MSI after burner program. and yes it does get hot when its under load, but nothing i would be concerned about. and i would not trade for a 980!
OVERALL this thing is a monster! it looks great! performs great! the 6th gen i7 is amazing! the R9 390X from powercolor lets me play anything maxed out. would buy again.
i hope i helped you guys make your decision a little easier.

NOT Just for GAMING

To be brutally honest, I've never been a gamer and I've always kept my opinion about NOT doing something "in real life" to myself!!! I am an artist and among other media, of late, I have committed to the use of HD photo and video. I have spent the last quarter researching a tool to meet my current and projected needs. When it came to performance (A LIFE LONG APPLE PATRON), I have to say I discovered the shadow of myopia that I'd lived under ever since art school. I BOUGHT the lastest 2016 MACBOOK PRO, with 16G RAM, as it turns out the processing speed for graphics couldn't come close to even 16G that is discreet. I was so busy eating the apple, that I never knew there was life outside of the garden! When it came to performance, turns out, GAMERS had identified most of my needs already. I found this CyberPowerPC bundle and found that what they built was MSI! Since my purchase, I have used most of Adobe's Creative Cloud and am knee deep into Autodesk's Inventor with all of their bells an whistles. This unit comes with 32G of RAM (4 sticks of 8G DDR4)....and in two days, I will swap them out for 4 sticks of 16 to meet the 64G capacity. The Video CARD is 8G and handles my 4K Asus Monitor with 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio like a champ. NO FLICKER, NO LAG! As far as the tower window with all the pretty LEDS, it was never a variable for consideration, but now that I see how pretty it is, I am wondering why mine did not come with those digital numbers in the picture??? I am still wondering what they would have measured if they were here? I am a happy camper and look forward to going 3D, just because I can. And for the record, I am still using my Apple keyboard with the built in key pad from 2007. Oh happy day. Cheers All!!!

Fine computer let down by the graphics card

I use this computer for processing photographs, mainly with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and occasionally with Photoshop itself. I also use it for household "stuff" like budgeting ... . The computer feels responsive, is reasonably quiet, and the matte black finish is not intrusive. (The window faces the wall in my set-up.)
There are two USB 3.0 ports on the top, but no recess for my portable hard drive to fit in; this is the drive on which I record my photos in the field and then plug in to import the images into Lightroom which stores them on another, larger, external hard drive. The internal mechanical hard drive is just about large enough for day-to-day computing but quite inadequate for a significant database.
Unfortunately, the computer didn't work on delivery. It was "spec'd" for me by the Vacaville Best Buy store specifically to run my "5k" monitor but the graphics card was not able to run this monitor. This was very disappointing and a serious inconvenience but Best Buy did replace the graphics card with a suitable one. Now everything is running smoothly.

Simple and Fast

Pro's:
- Very Fast and handles the most graphics demanding games with ease
- I went with AMD for the first time (after nVidia angered me possibly for life) and was not disappointed
- Well packaged thankfully because UPS was not very clearly not very careful with the box during shipment...
- Very quiet even when under high demand
- After one weekend of high demand gaming, it handled all my games with no issue (Stars Wars Battlefront, Civ 5, and Starcraft 2)
- The internal space of the tower is very open giving it easy access to all the connections for future potential upgrades
- I love the power supply being on the bottom! (It only just makes sense)
- No bloatware and installs Windows 10 very quickly.
- Very well priced, I tried to part out and build the computer with the same specs and it turned out to be more expensive!
Cons:
- As previously stated, no optical drive and no wireless are built-in (I realized I hardly use discs anyway and USB wireless adapters are cheap)
- Needed to go into the BIOS settings out of the box to tell it where to boot from. This wasn't a problem for me but I could see someone who is not as computer savvy having issues with this. If you happen to be having this issue and have the Gigabyte Motherboard, just hit the "Delete" key during boot-up to find that option. The OS should be on your SSD.

Great machine for the $$

This computer was easy to setup and looks great. The power, specs and quality construction are exceptional. I use 5 monitors and am a heavy user of multiple programs and a trading platform simultaneously. I am not a gamer, but given the demands I place on my computer, I needed a robust machine and that is what I got in the MSI CyberPowerPC Model: SLC8160B. I have not noticed any latency. The machine is very quiet and keeps very cool with its many fans and liquid cooling. I expect this computer to last many years!

Great Computer for Gaming

Purchased this computer for gaming. Everything arrived as expected and well protected. Case is amazing and has plenty of space for customization. The only criticism I have is that the details list that it has a liquid cooling system which I know require certain levels of maintenance yet it came with no instructions or even warnings about this.

This was to replace a Development PC that was stolen by a neighbor in January. I tell you, this PC is fast, but I don't care for the keyboard or mouse, to me they feel too plastic. And I have to replace my monitor too, but from what I can see, if you want a fast PC this would be it!

Good computer for no further upgrading.

This is a great computer, it throws everything I run at it, there seems to be no faults in it for the average everyday user to hopes to buy this and keep it in their house forever. Although there are redeeming qualities about this computer there are also faults that make it less of a good future proof purchase. I looked for this information before buying the computer, and I didn't find most of it since the only answer you get from the HQ of cyberbpowerPC is "It'll depend on the shipment/production date" which isn't really helpful. I put together a list of everything with pro's/con's just in case you might be getting this computer. IF you built this piece by piece it would take you around 1550$ meaning you save around 200 bucks, although the wiring is done professionally and looks great zipties are used and cables are hidden.
-The motherboard that came with my model was the "Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3P ATX LGA1151 Motherboard" Which is a great purchase but, if you are looking to further your graphic capabilities it won't be ideal the motherboard supplies a x16 PCIe 3.0 and a x4 PCIe 3.0. For simple terms, adding another card will mean your motherboard bandwidth will be limited and slow down BOTH cards. This motherboard comes with overclocking capabilities in the bios and allows for voltage changes to be made straight from the system settings.
-The processor is great, the 6700k provides leg room to overclock if by any means you find yourself limited by the 4.0 ghz and the solid 8 cores. (The CPU cooler is watercooled NZXT Kraken X31 69.5 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler VERY VERY LOUD UNDER LOAD)
-The 32GBs of ram are really overkill if you're a normal user, but for a power use its great. Information about the ram found on my version are A-DATA ZPG Z1 DDR4 clocked at 2133 MHZ with (15-15-15-36) timings set.
-The harddrives were a 2TB 7200 HDD and the 256GB SanDisk SSD are great, no complaints from me
-Power supply is a 800w 80 Plus Bronze, with BLUE underlighting which doesn't really help since the system is RED/BLACK
-The graphics card is a XFX Radeon R9 390X with one fan, the GPU clock is 1050mhx, and clockable up to 1500mhz which isn't recommended artifacts and blackness will happen. MSI afterburner is allowed under warranty so you have a little legroom to overclock. This build takes up around 504 Watts, and with the 800 supplied you have room for that previously stated overclock. This model comes with 2 x DL-DVI-D 1 x HDMI 1 x DisplayPort 1.2.

I bought this PC for use in graphics and art generation, not gaming. It meets all of my hardware requirements, runs my programs smoothly, the fan is pretty quiet, and I'm enjoying the speed and operating efficiency. This is my first CyberPower unit and I will be recommending this computer line to several friends of mine who are looking to acquire new PCs with similar specs.

The description doesn't tell you that the reason there's no optical drive is because there's no optical drive bay. Indeed, there's no external access to ANY drive bay. That means the disks they give your for drivers and backup utilities cannot be used until you buy an additional EXTERNAL optical drive. The CyberPower website does not include driver or configuration information for the keyboard or mouse included with this package, and the computer's settings and internal help files have been unable to configure the sound settings to prevent the sound from cutting out every eight seconds, for about 2 seconds of silence. The hardware does not seem to have a problem, but zero thought has been put into drivers, software, or support. This computer has been bumped straight down to the grandkids, and they can play their Sesame Street games all day on it. I have stopped using it.

So I bought this computer for my Son, who just turned 16, and he is ecstatic about how well it performs and how good his frame rates are for his games. This thing is a beast and has a professional look that is both clean and streamlined. I am very impressed.
***NOTE*** This system does NOT come with an internal or external CD/DVD/BluRay drive, which is in the product description, but it is worth pointing out here.
