I bought this computer on june 29 and 4 days later it still said order has been received so i call best buy and there customer service is like talking to infants "oh we dont know why but its on hold so you have to cancel it" witch really annoyed me so i canceled it and best buy apologized and gave me a 50 dollar gift card. So when i finally got the computer it was great. i could play minecraft on high settings at a solid 60fps

I purchased this to replace my laptop. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It is lightening fast and allows me to play the games I want smoothly, although not on ultra high settings; But that's probably just the games not being optimized by the developer. Picture quality is great, I'd even say eye-popping, and it boots up very fast.
The only down side, and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I first turned it on, I said, "Oh, no way." It was NOISY. It seems the back fan was hitting on something. It was super simple to remove the side panel. Just remove 2 screws that are made to be removed by hand without any tools. It seemed the fan was hitting against a cable and the back of the unit. Loosening the screws slightly fixed it scraping the back grill. I moved the cable and it is just the way it's supposed to be. Not totally silent, but not that "plastic in the bicycle spokes" noisy.
I did have to activate Windows 8.1, but it was a painless process. On the upper right side panel as you look at the unit, there is a sticker from Microsoft with a product key on it. I went to system, clicked on Activate Windows at the bottom, plugged in the product key and it was done.
Really happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend this model to a friend. It was actually kind of fun getting inside the case.

This computer didn't even last 24 hours. The 1st hour I booted up this computer it crashed several times with a display driver error. After finally installing and updating windows 8.1 I thought it would fix the problem. I went to bed shortly after the several hour update and reboot session. The next day I woke up and tried to turn it on. As you can see in the attached photo the computer fried a little. Agrivated I took it right away to best buy geek squad. They told me the video card shorted out and was worthless. They informed me that to get it fixed I would have to ship my computer to PowerPC company and wait another two weeks for shipping. On top PowerPC woud hold my account for the entire amount for the fix. Geek squad basically told me to return the computer and call it a day.

Computer itself is very nice and is all that is advertised. I had it shipped to store and upon pickup, they had lost the keyboard and mouse that came with it. They found the keyboard and let me pick out a replacement mouse. Also, it came with no power cord so they grabbed one off the shelf.
