This is a very capable machine considering it's low power and lower than average specs. The A4-6300 APU is 65 watt CPU and GPU combined as a dual core, most common CPUs are usually 95 watt or higher consumption. Always a win in my book when the system can do more work while using less power! The 4GB of preinstalled RAM is a single stick so there is still an available slot to add more RAM. Expansion is capable up to 32GB (like that much would ever be needed or ever really used), going up to 2 sticks of 4GB would be a great boost giving a total of 8GB and it would then run in dual channel mode (essentially doubling the effective throughput of data).
There's many great features including onboard HDMI output and even a PCIe x16 slot to add a dedicated graphics card.
The power supply is only 350 watt, but seems to hold up quite well on the stock setup. I personally would not even consider adding any other hardware unless the power supply were upgraded to one of much higher output and higher quality (Silverstone and PC Power & Cooling are tops on my list). The APU is able to be upgraded as high as an A10-7850K, which, is 4 CPU cores and 8 GPU cores with Radeon R7 graphics!
The only thing I could really say negatively towards this machine is the Windows 8.1 operating system. Of course it would be no problem for me to install Linux instead. It's probably alright for anyone who enjoys Windows 8.1 but personally, I hate this version of Windows more than any other previous version.
Also, I run Folding@Home 24/7 and haven't had any trouble at all with folding and doing other tasks simultaneously.

This is a perfect example of "you get what you paid for." Downloaded World of Warcraft and tried to operate game with Pandora in the background. Computer CPU was running at 91% and Memorie was at 82%. Everything operated super slow. Couldnt have more than one task at a time. Even when running just WoW it seemed to glitch out and lag. I'm guessing this would be a good computer if you only played Minecraft or CS and even then CS is questionable. I ran back to the bestbuy i had purchased IT within the 15 day return policy and upgraded to CyberPowerPC - Gamer Ultra Desktop - AMD FX-Series for only 100$ more. With only 100$ more im getting 2x mem, adm fx4300 processor ( which is by far better ) and AMD Radeon R7 240 graphics!!! only for 100 more? I gave it 2 stars bc bestbuy was very understanding had nothing to do with the computer.

I have spent hours trying everything I can think of trying to get this PoC to connect to Elite Dangerous' servers to no avail. No forums have helped, nor has anyone on FB. I am going to return this PC since I bought it specifically for Elite: Dangerous.
