We are sorry to hear that you ran into issues pairing your lights to your wifi network. These devices require a 2.4ghz wifi network to connect and use, and may have issues getting connected to blended networks. These are great, easy to use and set up; and work great with Alexa. I bought four and then bought four more the next day. Really great for hard to reach lamps and this allows me to turn on the front porch light from anywhere in the house. I have our porch lights set to turn on at sunset, which is another great feature.

This bulb does its job of being a bright led bulb. However, It is not great on the connectivity side. For starters, setting this up on the C by GE app takes a long time you have to turn it on and off about 7 times a you have to count 15 seconds between each time also the app crashes sometimes, and the Amazon Alexa skills to control those bulbs are poorly rated although it worked good for the couple of the days that I had those bulbs, I did return them and I got light bulbs by WIZ the colored RGB ones they were on sale for the Holidays, 19.99 for a pack of 2 also the set up is easy you only have to turn off and on just 2 times with no issues finding the your network unlike the C by ge where it took a while to find them the home wifi. It is ok but just know there are cheaper brands out there and the set up is not easy.

Fairly easy to install and set up. Work very well. Integrates with Google home flawlessly. Lifespan to be determined. I have been using them for over a year and plan to purchase more for other lighting in the home. Love the ability to dim, turn on, turn off and control with voice controls. Walk into the room with your hands full and you can have your voice assistant turn them on.

Almost perfect smart bulbs. Only con for me anyway has been the app. Bulbs work as they supposed to and with Alexa they are nearly seamless once setup in different group names. Considering how expensive these are normally I highly recommend looking for these on sale between $20-30. I have already recommended them to multiple friends and family.

Easy to set up and love that you don't need a bridge device. They come disconnected more than my Hues (my wifi is sometimes weak though, so without a hardwired bridge I anticipated some issues). Love that they can be dimmed by voice control with my Google devices.

C by GE soft white smart bulbs were my second experience with smart bulbs. My first were Phillips Hue. These C by GE are good priced and they don't need a hub to work. After downloading the app, it was easy to set up. Also I used Alexa to control and automation. When setting up, make sure your smartphone is on the same WiFi network you are going to put the bulbs on and your Bluetooth is turned on. There are a few issues after use. Sometimes the bulbs don't respond to Alexa and it says light bulbs are not responsive. The GE app says that the server is not responding. I tried logging using website on my browser, and the website was down. Another issue with the app is that you have to log on almost every time with email address and password, when you want to make adjustments to brightness. Reseting the bulbs was a pain. I had to search the Internet for instructions on how to. The steps are repeating turning on and off with so many secs of wait and hold. After a few hiccups these bulbs have been working with Alexa and the GE app. I am able to adjust the brightness and schedule with a routine. The GE app needs some improvement or further development.

Of all of the smart Wi-Fi light bulbs I have purchased within the past year, these have been the most difficult to set up. I was disappointed since I thought that GE would be a bit more universal when it came to using Alexa or Google to set the lights up. It worked OKAY with Google, but I have yet to get them to work properly with Alexa. I have bought off-brand smart light bulbs and setup is has been a breeze. All of that aside, they still get the job done with Google. They are also forgiving when you accidentally use the manual light switch to turn them off. There are some smart light bulbs that will disconnect, if you do this. C by GE is at least the cheapest set of smart bulbs you can buy in a set of four.

Easy to configure, just make sure that you confirm the properties - I missed selecting "Direct Connect" as the light type the first time, and realized something was wrong as the configuration path didn't match anything else. It was simple to just go back a step and fix it. They are bright. I've got four in the kitchen overhead fixture, and I've got them turned down to 10% brightness in the evening to keep it more gentle lighting. But I can turn them up if I need the extra light. I'd rather use the C by GE switches, at least now, as I keep reaching for the now always on switch. But, then I'd lose that dim-able feature, so I'm hoping my muscle memory fades soon and I just ask Google to turn them on. I also have some in free-standing "three-way" lamps. There the independent bulb is great, as the switch is cumbersome, especially if the lamp isn't right next to you.

Overall I like this product and even bought some for family. Pros: customizable and nice soft bright light for an LED. Cons: the app needs work to make it more user friendly and convenient. Sometimes bulbs are difficult to connect.

I have bought four sets of these bulbs. I have them throughout the house in various places, they work great with Google Home devices and or the Google Home app. Super simple to setup and configure as well! It's great having the dim function in lights that otherwise don't support or have a dimmer switch, but since this is controlled at the bulb itself, they work great!

4 Stars because of the external app needed to download. Installation ; easy to install Apps - I have an Alexa device and to connect the light bulb you need to download first an app called 'C by GE,' which will setup the entire device... Once you get everything installed you don't have to worry about it... However you do have to go back and fourth multiple times to successfully install. How it works ; I bought the 4 pack of bulbs for $20, maybe it was on sale... Once you get everything setup they're really easy to use. You can turn them on/off or you can dim them from low to high - 1%-10% This is only a warm lighting light bulb, it does not have multiple colors. After I bought them, I bought another set for my parents and even set it up for them
