Like the bulbs bought it on deal of the day they are smart works great with app. Able to adjusts the brightness turns on and off with the app with preset time. Needed more lumens so are bright but bestbuy doesn't sell them im store have the daylight ones but are expensive.

The only bad thing i can say is that maybe one light was faulty. It didnt want to connect to alexa nor google home. It worked with the light switch but wifi connection didnt work after a few days. All other light bulbs were fine. Love that you can also dim the lights. Over all it was a good purchase.

These lights serve their intended purpose. I personally ended up using a different bulb, primarily because I need something with more cool tones. However, these were very easy to set up and sync to the appropriate apps. I did find they came disconnected after a certain amount of time, this is more than likely due to me turning the light switch itself on and off at the power source. I would recommend this product.

I put them in the upstairs hallway and they're great! Only complaint is they don't dim very well and flicker when I try. Regardless, they're easy to turn on/off and I can use them with Google and Alexa. Definitely a great alternative to the more expensive Philips Hue bulbs if you can ignore the minor flaws.

Initially wanted them for dimming lights in my bedroom. Cool smart feature for setting the mood. Easy to install and pairing it with Google Home. Unfortunately when talking to Google to turn on or off, my nest dosen't reconize the bulbs. But for most days it works. I still love the bulbs. Fits the purpose for my home.

I like these bulbs. They aren't fancy (on,off, and dimmable) but they pair well with Google and are easy to control. The sale price of around $20 was great for 4 bulbs. It's also nice to set up one or more to turn on when I enter the house, as long as I have my phone with me. Plus, they will also last a long time.

The light itself is nice...a bright, warm glow. The cbyge app, though, is tedious to operate. Luckily, the light can be alexa-enabled for smoother and more consistent control, including control of the dimmer function - which I wasn't able to use with the cbyge app.
Overall, a good purchase. Hope it lasts.

These bulbs have been great, I have them spread across the house. These are unique because it is a bridge-less design. Making them super easy to setup and controllable very easily through the app.
These have been outstanding for the price. 0 issues so far, using them with Alexa and the Cync app daily.

I bought these bulbs for the lamps in my house. Overall they work good. I like that you can control the brightness from 5% to 100%. The only issue I have had is the app is a little clunky. I would like to set up the bulbs to come on and off at certain times. I can program them to come on, but not off again.

Smart LED Light Bulbs. These bulbs were super easy to connect. I already had the GE Cync app on my phone from a previous purchase. The app quickly found the new bulbs and once I installed them, I can control them with google nest. It is really convenient to be able to control all of my smart products with my google home and this product wirks well with Google, so I no longer need to use the GE Cync app.

The bulbs work well, but there is an installation/setup step. You need to download the app, install it create yet another account. Then you can install the bulb, discover it, configure it to use your wifi router, name it, assign it to a room, update the bulb firmware(!), then you're able to use it. Finally, if you want to use voice control, you can link your account with Alexa or Google Home.
Once all that is done, it's not hard to operate the bulbs by remote control using the app (or voice control, if you've linked it). These bulbs are white light, and can be dimmed. You can also set up automated routines like turning the light on at dusk and off at midnight.

The lights themselves are great! Love that turned them off is a dimming effect.
Where it lacks is the C By GE app. Often times don't connect well. I have it connected to google and it works just fine, but as of right now, if you plan to use a motion detector... you have to use the GE app

TLDR: I love these lights. Simple to use, reasonable to set up, no internet required, A+.
I'd been messing with smart switches previously, using Wemos to turn on or off lights in rooms. The problem is that Wemo went to "You must have an internet connection" (for no particular reason - the exact same switches worked fine without one before the software update that required it.) Which, if you lose internet, mean your smart switches have gotten pretty dumb.
I picked up some color C by GE bulbs over the holidays on sale. No internet required, just bluetooth and an app. Once I moved into my new apartment and saw these on sale, I grabbed a bunch. I'm very much a fan of these, now. They're reasonably quick to set up and simple to use. The app doesn't work on all my devices, but where it doesn't, Alexa does.
I tend to reset the bulbs to factory, even new out of the box - it's about a minute of switching them on and off (8 sec on, 2 off, 5x) which is a *little* annoying but seems to make the setup process much smoother. Setup after that is fast, renaming them and grouping them in rooms is easy - overall, I'm honestly very happy with these lights. (Even more when the internet goes out and they still can be controlled. I'm replacing Wemo plugs with either C by GE lights, or eventually plugs - and I'll be trying the wireless remote / switches, too.)
Watch the prices between the two and four packs - I managed to get a sale on the soft white ones, where I got five of these for about the same (or lower) as two four packs, so these were an even bigger value (I had a lot of lights to replace, and have spares now.)

On the plus side, these bulbs do not need a hub so long as you don't try to connect more than 5 to the same wifi network. It took a little bit of effort to get all 4 bulbs to register against the "C by GE" account that you will create for the process but once done, the automation is straight forward, including control via voice by using Google Home speaker.
Got this kit at a good price and it was well worth the price to add some home automation

energy efficient, both for the electricity bill and my own convenience. i have voice-activated products (google speakers and hub) so i am able to use those to turn these lights on and off as well as dim to different percents. with the latest update, they can even be told to light, dim, or darken at different time (i.e. turn off in 5 minutes, turn on at 7am). pretty easy to set up, too, and can be very bright.

The light bulbs themselves are fine. They are a good brightness and the warm color is nice. However the setup and use is not intuitive. It took me 15 tries to setup the light bulbs and make them setup correctly in google home. It’s really a problem with the app itself but it still degrades from the overall experience. After getting smart assistant connection to work successfully, the bulb stopped responding to google and Alexa but still functioned perfectly fine via the app. A software/app update is all this bulb needs to be great.
Overall, I would buy these bulbs if they are on sale or bundled with something else (that’s how I bought them).

Good reasonable-price smart light that get the job done. No need to spend a fortune on high-end models. I am very please with my purchase. However the CYNC app stinks. I work these light through my Nest Hub Max.

Easy to set up. Went with these because I was running out of slots on my Wi-Fi. A little more finicky to work with then phillip bulbs but they do the job. I use them with Alexa just fine. I would purchase more when needed.

These bulbs work perfectly and are pretty bright the only negative thing about them is the app from GE needs some work and is quite problematic but once I got it set up on an automation routine it has worked flawlessly so far for me, you can also choose to use either Google Assistant or Alexa to control them as well so you are not limited to only the C by GE app.
