Great for checking in on your home. Does not have high end graphics. Will not connect unless you are connected to wifi. I like the pan effect.

Overall the camera is really good, it has a motion sensor which makes it even better. The setup is easy just follow simple instructions and you are all set to use it. Great buy at affordable price.

I like the product but it is definitely not plug and play. Must read complete insructions to use at full potential. Not really user friendly. For the price, this unit is well worth it.

This is a basic camera for monitoring your home while away. We have been using it for live viewing, although I understand you can subscribe to a service to record images that it captures.

The only complaint I have is that the wifi toggle to switch views is very touchy and a little glitchy at times overall though great picture strong connect and night vision works well

I'm happy that I can use the phone app to set up my camera, it is just what I expected, easy to control using the app. Now I can check my home any time I need from my cellphone.

Love it but thought I had read that I can speak to someone through it. And wish there wasn't much lag getting into it when it detects motion so it's faster to see who is there

D-Link DCS-5020L wireless network camera is a good, inexpensive security camera. It was relatively easy to set up on my iMac, although I did have JAVA issues and needed help from tech support. They got me up and running in minutes, then I set up the other 5 cameras without an issue. The camera sells for about $120, but we got ours on sale for $89. They pan and tilt remotely and transmit a clear color picture during the day and black and white at night. You can have the camera send notification or photos for sound or motion detection. Their monitoring apps are nice, but the features vary between the desktop and the iPad app. On the iPad, I can see a block of 4 camera views at once, which I like. And the desktop app allows me to rotate the camera and save specific views, so I can jump to them quickly and not have to scroll. It helps to have a fast internet speed and good router. The only real downside to the cameras is that when there is a power, modem or router interruption, you need to reset the cameras in person. That's not very handy when you are away on vacation. We are hoping the battery back-up, APC - Back-UPS 600VA UPS, will help us with that. Time will tell.

I got this camera to watch our kids toy room and it works great for keeping and eye on things. The app is so easy to use.

Easy enough to program and install. Convenience of being able to monitor using your cellphone. Can be linked to any portable device and access via wifi or data line.

Great Camera- but i think i would stick with the HD much clearer picture--- i have a few others that are HD but this time for the location we picked the non HD

Didn't know anything about security cams, thought I would try this one. Neat to play with. Bought the NVR to go with it and will be getting some more of these gems

Easy set up to my home computer. Synchronized well with my smartphone. I have been far from home and had no problem observing mom walking around the house.

Priced high for value, problems with picture flipping and mirroring using android, had to go to advanced setting to correct, frustrating. camera does not pan all the way down, call support they said that's the way it was designed. picture quality decent, infrared picture poor. constantly losing connection on 3g, times out when on network have to reacquire network connection.

This is my second D-link pan and tilt Wi-Fi video camera. This one I located inside my garage. Have you ever had the feeling that you left your garage door open. Now I just click on the app on my iPhone and view my camera in my garage to see if the garage doors is open or closed. Peace of mind. Great camera. easy to hook up.

I bought this to monitor my house when I am away. Setup was relatively easy - the only difficulty I had with the setup was that it would not connect to wifi initially. The network was not showing in the dropdown during setup. After I plugged it in directly into the router, it picked the wifi network after I selected that option from the mydlink account. The picture is very good. Night vision is also decent. The camera movements are easy to control and I can pan it up and down and rotate it very easily. On the whole, an excellent product. I view it from a Windows laptop. I tried to access it from my iMac, however the Java version used by the camera was incompatible with my Mac. Go figure! So far I had to do one firmware update that was uneventful. I am holding back one star for the following reasons - initial setup difficulty with wifi, and inability to access from my Mac.

The IR night vision works very well and is pretty clear for the price. However the setup software is pretty poor for the less knowledgeable with computers.

This camera has many options that can be configured it is very simple to set up. The advanced options are what i was going for, and it delivers.
