    Nice cam but ..........

    Nice cam (DCS 5020L) but it is very difficult to setup. It does not like Windows 10 (Internet Explorer Echo version comes with Windows 10 and this cam is not compatible with it.......needs IE 11 or older). When I finally was able to get the cam setup (using a computer with Windows 8 since I refused to change IE from Echo to 11) it worked great......until I discovered that when I'm away from my home wifi it will not work on my iPhone or iPad. I have a Netgear router that will not allow me to view the cam while using LTE on my phone. You either need to have a D-Link or Linksys router for it to work but no where does it tell you this until you get to the end of the setup. Thanks D-Link for being up to date with your cam. Don't waste your time with customer service ..... it's a joke. If you are not a tech savvy person do NOT buy this cam.

    CASE # C6733731 TECH ID AR004273 Henry was excellent tech and very very patient and spent time with me and resolve my problems and I'm very very happy. I would recommend this because the service is excellent.

    Marvin did a great job of helping he resolve my camera problem. Picture saw mixed colors and he resolved the problem by reinstalling software. Thanks!

    ar004277- Call in to get help and the tech. was great at finding the problem and solving the issue. She was very polite and i really appreciate the quick she was able to get the camera back online.

    Best for the money.

    I purchased two of these cameras for my studio. It is an excellent camera for the money. Wish I could record on it. Oh well- the model above this does. D-Link gives you a free cloud service to view these cameras anywhere. If you view using the home network that the cameras are on, you get excellent results. However, when viewing remotely, the picture is smaller and response is slow. It could take 10 seconds for the unit to respond to a pan or tilt. It also appears the frame rate is pretty slow. As for the cloud service- well, it's free. What do you want, your money back? As for the camera- I think it's excellent. Also has audio and good low light abilities.

    I purchased this camera last night, Wifi Setup took 10 minutes. Camera had really bad audio reverb at first, but disappeared on it's own. The "email photo/ video when motion is sensed" option is nice, BUT will only work if you access the camera settings directly by entering the camera's IP address in your web-browser. The D-link webpage will not configure the camera properly to email you images/ videos. I set my motion sensitivity to 40% ... This makes it so I don't get false alarms from the Cat, but my dogs and people will set it off. Audio and Video Quality is more than acceptable to identify a person Night Vision Works Excellent

    AR004211 Recommend the Dlink camera and the service was great. Had this camera for the past three years with out any problems Works well great with my computer, cell phone and tablet.

    The product is good but difficult to set up. However, the tech support was beyond fantastic. Patient and very knowledgeable. Highest kudos to the super tech with badge AR004226!!!

    Decent for indoor use

    This has been a pretty good camera with alot of features for indoor use. The quality is so-so however for the price 480p is about the best it gets. Camera features a mobile app with great functionality. One complaint is no real method of recording (without purchasing another device) that I have found. The best option I have for recording is motion detection to email 6 second / frames of either voice,images,video. Would recommend, but not if looking for recording features.

    Great Internet Camera with Smart phone application

    Setting up was a challenge call Tec support at 800-326-1668 877-453-5465. Camera works great close to my Wi Fi pan and tilt is a slow on my Verizon Samsung Galaxy 3 several times the sound don't work. Recording a image is sent to your e-mail this don't work on the cell phone. I use my camera's as a Care giver to watch my sitter and my 82 year old parent when I am not able to be home. Thank you D-Link I know you can fix the small Tec problems via the internet connection. Best Buy is a great place to go shopping If you need tec information read my information and other reviews the best price is Best Buy If you find a better price on the internet let the Sales Associate know the item number.

    Agent AR004620 is excellent at what he does!!! Dlink cameras have provided me with security and I feel I have made a wise choice investing in this product.

    Perfect For My Needs

    Great for my needs. Does exactly what I want it to do. Love the wireless capability. Wherever there's an outlet I can place it where I want. During wireless setup the camera could not find my wireless signal. I had to configure my wireless setup through my D-link router. Night vision is great in total darkness. I love that I can pan/tilt & watch on my iPhone via app. I bought this camera yesterday and will buy another today so I can have multi-view of pets. I have yet to try other features such as motion detection, alerts, etc
