Works great for what I need it for. When you start the car it runs for 15 mins then shuts off. Usually that is plenty of enought time for the windows to defrost. The only thing I don't like is when you lock the doors it doesn't beep the horn to let you know it's locked. But it's a nice feature to have on any car. Best Buy installed it in around 2 hours and has been great ever since.

I took my car in thinking the remote start I purchased came with a security feature but I was wrong. Since there was no security feature installed on my car I can't really give a good review on this type of service, but the guy at the Oceanside Bestbuy was very professional and did a good job on my remote start.

This came with the Viper 4806v that I purchased on sale after Thanksgiving 2015, for my 96 F250. It was not required for my year of truck, however I did purchase a 4806v for my mom for Xmas and her 2002 Taurus did need it. Was an issue at first, but Geeksquad did get it to work and has worked flawlessly since.

The installer informed me that his location doesn't sell the CompuStar products so he wasn't very experienced at installing those specific products. He informed me that the remote starter only successfully started the vehicle about 70% of the time.

I researched products prior to making the purchase. The product met my expectations. The service staff was great. Explaining the whole process, taking less time than expected. They even programmed my old keys to work with the remote start and upgraded my remotes to a better one.

I love it. Now I can start my truck without leaving my work station. With the mile range on this starter I can work anywhere in the plant and start my truck 15 minutes before quitting time and its nice and warm on these cold days.LOVE IT.

Got this with an online package deal of the day. The service at the Woodland Park location for the remote start install was great and the staff was efficient with the install. Highly recommend this location.

BestBuy customer service consulted BestBuy experts for my questions,yet the expert answers were conflicted with local BestBuy install tech info. Local BestBuy install tech said that Remote car starter would cost a lot more $$ to install to achieve convenience features of trunk trigger. I specifically asked phone agent about " no extra install charges" and was told there would be no extra install charges . This is the 2nd time this happened to me with BestBuy installing remote car starter . I still have another Christmas remote starter to install in another car and was informed that it will get installed w/o extra $$.. BUT, the local BestBuy install tech told me this week that it may cost as much as hundreds more to install. Your customer service info conflicts with BestBuy install tech info. I bought 5 remote starters from BestBuy in past few years and each time I unexpectedly encounter an install issue which requires $$. I always inquire about this in advance and have repeatedly been given bad info. Store policy/communication needs to be addressed in my opinion. I want hassle- free service as promised to me.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Geek Squad Auto Installation of Best Buy Levittown NY for doing an excellent job on upgrading my Compustar remote start system by adding the Compustar FT-ALARMIT-KIT for my 2015 Honda CRV.

The Best Buy car installers are top notch. They were able to install my remote start and addons. Having an Audi it took them longer then expected but they were able to finish same day and do a very professional job.

This was a fantastic add on for my remote start plus installation. I bought it as a package deal, professional installation . The service was great. I am so satisfied that I purchased the exact same one for my sons truck. Thanks Best Buy

I am pleased with the remote start that I got as a Deal of the day. The only problem I have is with the keyless entry. I always have to press the button twice. Overall, good product.

Nick the installer was great! No issues with that. The airbag light stayed on though so had to bring it back to get fixed the next week. Starter works good though...

After the install of the remore start I had to go back twice to fix the install. The technition said my style of car was very hard to install on and he wasn't too familiar with it. Between the second and third visit he had to call another rep to find out how to install it correctly. I wasn't impressed that he was using black tape to cover the wire splices. In my experience black tape comes off in the heat. Since car interiors get very hot I doubt the tape will stay on very long. I expected the geek squad to use the shrink wrap type of splice cover. When I called to make the first appointment I was told to call back in a week, the appointment schedule wasn't up yet for an appointment two weeks away. I had to call four times before I could get an appointment.

I had this remote starter for two weeks now and I am loving it. I have not had any issues and the best part of it is when I get out to the car it is already warm.

Came with the remote starter package. the tech was good, but be aware, not all Best Buy locations can install remote starters, I drove 20 miles to a best buy that did... having 2 best buys near my home.

The Roseville, CA install guy was the best! he made sure everything worked like i wanted it to and explained every function and quirk to having this installed on my 2014 Ford Fusion

They did a very good job with the installation. I was very worried with my brand new 2018 Toyota camry. But they took care of me very well and did a awesome job.

The staff were fast, efficient, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I felt comfortable with them working on the installation of my remote start. This was a great decision. Thank you best buy!
