    We'll go through a preinstallation checklist to ensure we return your vehicle to you in the same condition as when we dropped it off.

    Factory-installed look and functionality

    We'll mount, conceal and install or integrate the appropriate security add-on for your vehicle.

    Final steps

    To finish, we'll perform a postinstallation checklist, test all functions and show you a demonstration of the security add-on's features.

    How to redeem and schedule your installation:

    After ordering, you'll get a redemption e-mail containing a key code that validates your order. Find your nearest installation center and call to schedule an appointment.

    *A materials charge of $5 per vehicle will be assessed at time of installation. Standard remote start and keyless entry installation does not include vehicle-specific parts or accessories; parts typically cost $10–$300, but will vary.

    Your Geek Squad Autotech will provide an estimate prior to performing work that requires an additional charge (including nonstandard installation) and any additional parts. Any additional charges will be assessed after the installation is complete.

    What to bring to your installation appointment:

    Bring a printout of your redemption e-mail, the security add-on you want installed, and any other parts you may have purchased for the installation.

      Purchased on Best Buy website as part of a complete alarm package including installation. When I went to my local Best Buy to get it installed I was told “this is more of an east coast product, we don’t really install those here” Ended up returning everything. Shouldn’t sell a package if unable to provide part of the deal.

      Install people were not helpful. Ended up having to return item after waiting two weeks for install appt just to find out I needed to buy about $300 more just to have item installed. Could they not tell me that when I went to set up appt. Such a waste of time.
