Customers appreciate the engaging gameplay, impressive art style, and responsive controls of DAEMON X MACHINA, frequently citing the action-packed mech combat as a highlight. However, some feel the story could be improved and that the price point may be a deterrent for some buyers. A few also noted performance issues.

Great solid mecha third person shooter action game for the switch. If you are a fan of armored core games then this is the game for you. Plays great on the switch with great cell shaded graphics.

Decent graphics, thin story elements, average controls. Overall a little messy but somewhat fun. Wait for a sale. Would have felt better as a 30$ purchase.

The art style and fast paced combat is amaaazing. The only issue with this game is it seems a bit unfocused on being a hunting game like Monster Hunter or more of a fast paced Armored Core

The game is light on story and heavy on action and loot. The menus are a bit archaic but it's not game breaking. Game has multiplayer online if you can find a match

Daemon X Machina brings a lot of awesome fresh features to this genre. I love the style. Everything feels really cohesive. The action is way more fast paced than the armored core games we have gotten use to. Some of the mission areas are too small with how fast u can go. One thing I'm not super into, but I expected not to be into it, was the long drawn out narative. At some points the characters have "small talk" that lasts forever not progressing story. The story itself is great. I love the concept.

I really enjoy the combat and great music in the game. I also like the graphics and lock on system. I don't usually play mech games but this one I enjoy.

This is a great and fun mech assault game. The gameplay is fluid and the controls are genius. Don’t sleep on this title exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.

Mech fans will love the designs, customization options, action-packed story and high energy combat. The online and multiplayer options make the whole package even better and offer some intense team-based fights. Some concerns are the frame rate could be smoothed out in some parts, and some aspects may seem repetitive, but other than that, I highly recommend as a action-filled addition to your Switch library!

This game takes me back to my Armored Core days. I knew the old Armored Core devs were working on this so it had my attention. I enjoyed the lastest demo and was sold. The game runs great and looks great. The customization is amazing and lots of missions. It feels like Armored Core and that is a great thing. Anyone who enjoyed Armored Core or just likes mechs/mech games in general will have a blast with this.

If you can grab this on a sale, go for it- full price? Maybe if you really want to play it or are board. It starts out fun, and customization of the mech is cool, but the story is very lacking. A couple of ranks in, missions seem to just be repetitive, escort this person, investigate that, search for this ect ect. Running around without the mech is new, but you take damage real easy. All in all, 40 and under is worth it.

This game is lots of fun. If you are looking for a good mech game, and don't want to import one from Japan, this is where you should go. The story isn't fantastic, but its not horrible. The game play is fun and the customization is really cool. There aren't many mech games available, so this is a good addition.

I've been looking for a good mech game to play for the longest time, ever since the old armored core games. This game so far is satysfiying that itch. Fun combat, lots of customization for your mech, lots of different weapons and play styles. I'm about 20 hours in and it seems like there is still lots of content and even online battles which I haven't even tried yet. I'd recommend it if you're into mech games for sure.

This game is a love letter to those who have played mecha like games or games from From Software's Armored Core games(yes the people who make the Soulsborne games). The worldbuilding is presented as you being a mercenary that pilots a Arsenal(Mech) that does tasks to ensure humanity survives. Its a great experience for mech fans and unlike armored core, its not as complicated......

If you tried this during the initial trial months ago, please note that it's much improved, made better with great use of gyroscope aiming akin to the Splatoon series. It has terrific visuals and effects, even if its story is nonsensical and much of the characters are obnoxious. There's also terrific customization options for your Mech, and they range from cosmetics to weapons and armor.

As a fan of mech games this scratches an itch that has been lost in recent generations. The story isn't the greatest but the gameplay and customization level are what sell this game. Let's hope that Nintendo and Marvelous build on what's here and makes this an ongoing series.
