We purchased this unit (Model DUFM085A4BSLDD 8.5 Upright Designer) through Best Buy and the unit arrived directly from Danby with a repair to the interior white panel near where the door seals (a dent with two small punctures that were covered with a putty material). The door is sealing but we are concerned about the longevity of the repair and sealing of the door. We have contacted Best Buy and they are attempting to replace the unit but it has been over 30 days and Best Buy is now looking to refunding our money. We like the unit but just concerned.

Our Danby Upright Freezer arrived in perfect condition and it exceeded our expectations. Best Buy gave us the most competitive price and we were able to apply our reward points which saved us a lot of money. Satisfied customers again!

The only reason I gave it one star is I couldn’t give it a zero. This was the second one I got. The first one that was delivered had a bad compressor. The second one, the freezer door was damaged.

I ordered and paid for this item on 03/13/24. I was told it would be delivered 3/25. I Received repeated texts on prepping for the delivery. Nothing was delivered 3/25, 3/26, After numerous frustrating calls. No one has contacted be with any info on a product. Where when and how it will be delivered. I am very disappointed and frustrated on the lack of communication and concern about my $800+ product delivery, and my time. I would greatly appreciate someone calling me with answers. I will not continue to wait for this delivery unless I am contact with new status. I am putting my apartment back in order for the holidays.

I love Danby products. This is an addition to a smaller one I have. I like the size of this, as it isn’t too big or too small. The best part, is it is an upright. I am short and I hate bending over a chest freezer where things get buried. Great buy!
