The Scholar of The First Sin edition includes all of the DLC, better visuals and more players can play online simultaneously! If you liked Dark Souls then this would be the perfect game to hold you over until DKS 3!

This game is very challenging but fun. You don't need to have played the first game in order to play this one, but it is recommended. If you haven't played the first one, you can always read about it online.

It's Dark Souls and there will be pain again playing in HD. I really love this series and there is a lot of added items from the update of the previous version. It is not a new games but more added content.

This game is a masterpiece. A lot of love went into making this game a challenging and rewarding experience. You HAVE to get good at this game to progress in it. Not a single second felt wasted playing it.

Great game. Harder than the original release of the game. Some variations from the old version, but it helps make the game interesting even for people who had played the original release a few years ago.

They've really done a good job on making this fresh (instead of just a straight port without doing much). Definitely worth getting even if you already own it on the last gen console!

I would say I liked the first dark souls better. Being able to teleport while nice kind of ruins the immersive aspect of the game. The graphics and frame rate are improved.

Dark Souls 2, while does fall short of some level design and concepts that were so masterfully done in the first game still comes across as an amazing game. While I think the first game was better, I have put a lot more time and to a degree had more fun playing this one. When Scholar of the first sin came out, it put me right back into it revitalizing the game and of course making it look gorgeous.

Stupid game keeps kicking my butt but I can't quit trying. Honestly though the satisfaction with beating that boss on the 30thtry is pretty great.

Dark Souls two is one of the most challenging games I've ever played. It will drive you crazy but you just can't stay away. Beautiful game and great on next gen.

This HD revision for next-gen consoles includes all of the dlc and looks quite good in 1080p as well. Prepare to die horribly, and love every second of it.

Punishingly brilliant! Graphical upgrade compared to the original and cooperative is easy to do and makes the game much more manageable. Absolutely recommend.

A hard game for someone not used to the franchise. You learn as you go and die alot but worth it in the end if you don't throw your controller at the screen!!!

This upgraded version of dark souls is the best so far. It definitely is a little harder than the original version. Have fun dying over and over again.

I can't explain why this game is so much fun but it is. The graphics are amazing on the Xbox One. I think I'll use miracles on my next playthrough.
