I gave this a shot to see how well it ran compared to the original version, and especially since the price was right, and for people who have played the original version this is something to checkout. They have reworked which enemies are in certain areas and it makes enough of a change that it is exciting to replay the game.

Like the previous Dark Souls, Dark souls 2 is an unforgiving, incredibly difficult gaming experience. That being said, these are some of the best games released in the last 10-15 years. In the 80s and 90s, video games were often unrelentingly hard. Dark Souls returns to this, giving you an experience that, if completed, is incredibly rewarding and will be an experience you remember fondly for years. Any time I meet a Dark Souls fan, we have so much to talk about: how our strategies differed, bosses that were hard (or easy) for us, and funny player invasions we saw. Dark Souls isn't for the casual gamer, but if you are looking for a REAL challenge, this is the game for you.

Great games that may feel unrewarding at times but if you fight through it to get into the game a ways it really starts to pay off in the long run. But definitely for more advanced players who adapt to things like this one, it's a lot like playing a D&D game with your friends

The biggest difference, for me, was the lighting and smooth frame rate. I am going back and forth between this and Bloodborne, but actually like DSII better due to the role playing element. Bloodborne is great, but feels more canned.

Dark souls is the game of games, a true rpg! There is good reason dark souls games have a cult following of fans, there is no way to tell you how incredible dark souls is, you simply have to play it and experience it for yourself.

It very easy to lose interest in a game like This because you can die so easily and must start over from last check point. It is a very exciting and fun game as long as you don't mind really putting time and effort into the game.

Like Demon's Souls and Dark Souls before it, this is not a game for the casual gamer. If the extreme difficulty is up your alley though, you will have hours and hours and HOURS of fun with it. Be prepared to accept death, not just as a hindrance to gameplay, but as a valid gameplay mechanic. Dark Souls, like games of 20 years ago and more, is unforgiving. It will test your patience, and require you to look for multiple ways of handling a situation. Bottom line: this game is awesome, but not for everyone!

I really liked the first Dark Souls. In this game the presentation is a little bit weird at the beginning, but so far is not bad. It doesn't have the same feeling of the first one and some changes doesn't make sense, but's ok.

I found this game to be a little more difficult than usual, but also more rewarding. graphics are average, but gameplay is good.

It's good if you are okay with super challenging bosses. You will die so many times it's not even funny. However, the graphics are super nice and the game play is nice as well.
