If you love Dark Souls or just love being punished by brutal difficulty in games then this is a must buy. I've been a fan of the series since Demon's Souls and will continue to be one with this kind of quality gameplay. Loved it so much I bought 2 so I could give one to friend and then gave my copy to another friend to experience the greatness that is Dark Souls. Holding out for a GOTY edition and then i'm buying it again.

This game is amazing and a great challenge start to finish. The combat is fast pace and intense and also slow paced and deliberate at times with a perfect mixture between the two. The story is better than the other Dark Souls games but still cryptic for the most part, but the gameplay and boss battles are the still the best part of this game to go along with beautiful visuals which really makes this game shine. 9.5 out of 10.

A+ for atmosphere, music, graphics, level design, combat, boss design...so far it's perfect! Everything I hoped it would be and more! I can understand people complaining and giving it negative reviews though...not everybody is cut out for Dark Souls. Some people just don't have the grit, determiniation and iron will required to scratch and claw their way out of the pit of ash that is Lothric. Dark Souls 3! Praise the Sun!

Great graphics, controls are responsive for game play. The Story line is very well written.

Dark Souls 3 will be familiar territory for Souls fans of any platform. In fact, I would say DS3 is surprisingly familiar, but I won't spoil why. If you're new to the franchise and want to try one out or you've been playing these games since Demons Souls you will enjoy your time here. While I think the first Dark Souls is still the best entry in the franchise I do think that DS3 is far superior to 2.

As you've probably heard, the Dark Souls series is difficult and can discourage many after the first couple of hours. But the difficulty is what makes this series great. It doesn't hold your hand and respects your intelligence. It also gives you the tools to succeed. Dark Souls 3 is arguably the best in the series, only really rivaled by its spiritual spin off: Bloodborne. I highly recommend this game.

Dark Souls 3 is the type of game that would get you throwing your controller all over the place in rage after being killed by a silver knight. This game is of great difficulty but it is very fun and rewarding once you get the hang of it. Once you have mastered the mechanics of the game, you will find out for yourself why I consider it one of the best games ever made (after skyrim of course).

The game is terrifying in areas and does have breathtaking visuals in certain areas. The boss design is top notch and the gameplay takes the best of Bloodborne and The Souls Series and creates a game that is much faster, combat is ultra fun and the game requires the learning of one's skills to progress the game. While the difficulty is up there a times, its worth it to complete this masterpiece.

Dark souls 3 is the third installment of a very gritty and difficult Role Playing Game franchise. The open world of DS3 is full of savage surprises and twist and turns that will have you frustrated, but the payoff is worth it. In addition, the game is online so you can play with friends or decide to play by yourself. If you enjoy a challenge Dark Souls 3 is a game to pick up.

Very good and challenging game. It has the difficulty that you would expect from a Souls game. Very rewarding to defeat bosses. Multiplayer is fun and can take many different forms this year. All in all probably the best souls game yet.

The most envilving game the best pvp and joy of invade an collect

Anyone who is familiar with the Dark Souls series already knows exactly what to expect out of these games...Amazing level design, atmospheric worlds, some crazy creature models, and satisfying gameplay. This game is no different. It can be a daunting task for new-comers, but with patience, and a little perseverance, the reward is high.

This game is brutal just as the series intended. Ever so gratifying when you destroy the boss, but you just want to throw the controller through your hi Def TV when you die for the 30th time. Overall, a very beautiful, satisfying, hateful game. You'll never feel a more emotional Rollercoaster than when you play thevery souls games.

If you're looking for more of the same Dark Souls gameplay, but in a new setting, with new bosses, weapons, and more, you have to give DS3 a chance. It's a phenomenal conclusion to the series which rewards thoughtful engagements in battle, and careful planning with stat allocation. One of the best games of the year so far.

Dark Souls 3 is a worthy entry in the series. Any souls veteran will enjoy this one, as well as people who have been turned off by previous Ouls games, but who enjoyed Bloodborne. Combat is faster paced and tight controlling, like usual. In terms of story, this one ties the previous entries together. Overall a great game.

Best game ever hands down. Perceverence may be a requirement for intermediate level gamers or somewhat new to series fans as myself. Only played bloodborne before this one, but this honestly may be my favorite game now. Almost finished playthrough number 1 and am honestly too excited for round 2

Been a fan of the Souls series going back to the beginning with Demon's Souls. They can be intensely difficult at times and really test your patience, but they also reward perseverance while punishing wanton button-mashing. I would rate DS3 as the second-best of the four, just behind Dark Souls. Once you have discovered their locations, the covenant system is easier to navigate and it's easier to switch covenants on the fly, saving needless trekking. Upgrading weapons is more convenient than ever with a centrally-located blacksmith (and old friend) who can do it all, once you find the corresponding coals. The music and geography are top-notch, with tremendous variety. The on-line interaction with other players is as fun (and necessary) as ever. An outstanding PS4 experience.

From Software has yet again created another masterpiece. This game looks and plays great. While not quite as hard as the previous entries this game will still provide veterans a challenge while crushing yet rewarding new players. Don't miss out on this if you are a fan of action RPG's!
