Great continuation of the dark souls saga. Graphics are great and sound controls make this game enjoyable. Definitely keeps to the dark souls tradition of being hard! Reminds me of blood borne but different genre.

Dark souls 3 being the last entry in the series feels somewhat bitter sweet; but even with that the game lives up to the hype and leaves us with a satisfying conclusion to the souls series. Quiet a challenge and worth traversing if you're up to the challenge.

After a somewhat mediocre misstep of Dark Souls 2, From Software returns with a great return to form in DS3. Some of the most memorable bosses in the entire series, and still a challenge to a series veteran like myself. Do not hesitate on picking this one up.

I first bought Dark Souls 1 then Dark Souls 2 for my teens, i watched as they played and got hooked, staying late with them as they play. When Dark Souls 3 came out, we got it immediately! There are some references to Dark Souls 1 characters like Lord Gwyn, Ornstein, NPCs like Alva, Solaire, the Anor Londo, the giant blacksmith , etc. This is not for the impatient ones, it's frustrating but there are a lot of help online from those who had finished this. The graphics are very good, the characters are insanely weird, that it makes you think those who created this game are either geniuses or bordering on insanity..lol... how did they come up with such and where did they get the inspiration? I suggest for first timers to play Dark Souls 1 then 2 then 3, in this order, to better appreciate and understand, it's worth it.

As an avid fan of the Dark Souls series, I had very very high hopes for this final installment (or so they say) in the series. Taking a queue from Bloodborne, movement is improved in this one as your character doesn't feel as clunky as in past games which really makes a difference in dodging ability. Also, the camera!! So many times in Dark Souls 2 I would die because the camera would lock me into a corner and I couldn't see the enemies I was engaging, even with lock-on. That is absolutely fixed. Difficulty level isn't overwhelming if you know this series, but some bosses (the cathedral boss) will cause the demise of thousands of controllers across the world. Praise the Sun and buy this game if you want a challenge with a more accomplished feeling than any other series gives once you triumph!

Dark souls 3 takes the best of both Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 along with a dash of Bloodborne. The combat, story, and challenge make this game not for the weak of heart but someone that appreciates gaming and loves a challenge.

If you've previously played Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls II or even Bloodborne, you've got a pretty good idea of what's in store for you with Dark Souls III. And that's freaking awesome! Fifteen hours in, I can assure you this is true Dark Souls in every respect. I was immediately at home with the controls, because as fans of the series know, you spend dozens of hours in each game learning to master them. Like all its related games, Dark Souls won't hold your hand or draw you a picture. Time to put on the big boy trousers and figure stuff out for yourself (or check out the various online Wikis, heh). There is always more than one way to do things in this game, and that's part of the appeal - everything just makes sense. This is the real deal. I am so stoked.

One of the best games in my opinion. Even tho it is not as difficult as DS2, but its very enjoyable to play. Graphics are great, controls are great. Love this, and the audio CD on th inside :)

This is a fun game that is definitely not for causal gaming. Bosses and other enemies are very challenging until the game mechanics are figured out. The game has many secret items, locations, quests, to complete that gives many hours of game play. My first time beating the game without researching any of the items was about 65 hours and I did miss some areas.

As a franchise fan i loved the game, the graphics are stunning, the game play smooth, and as hard as a dark souls game should be. I plan to buy the DLCs as soon as they become available.

Old-school games could be tough. They taught you to get farther by memorization and sharpening your skills. This game's entire strategy is this concept. You play a player-created character in a dark fantasy setting via a third-person view. Melée weapons and ranged attacks via magic, and shields are your gear. You level up and find items and gear along the way. Your currency is souls, which upon death you lose, but may be recovered at the previous death site if you don't die first. Enemies are difficult, bosses are insanely tough and the story is complicated. But when finished, this game is rewarding and gives a sense of satisfaction no game will give you.

I will start by saying that this isn't my favorite Dark Souls game. The first Dark Souls was much better. HOWEVER! This game is AWESOME. It has tough moments, much depths and allows you to revisit some of the locations that you were at in the first Dark Souls. I LOVE this game. I love it so much that I'd be willing to buy it for my friends so they can enjoy it. Yes, it is tough, but you will learn to adapt. It is multiplayer like all others. It is fantastic. Now, if you played FromSoftware's other game, Bloodborne, it is similar but not the same. The only gripe I have is the detail to the items in Bloodborne were better. But that is a small gripe.

This game is like any other Dark Souls game. Punishing yet very rewarding. Challenging yet satisfying. What makes this different from Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 2? Aside from having the best graphics in the series, it also has faster combat, new skill attacks, new armor and weapons for more customization and even more ways to have jolly cooperation, or to kill another player. This game will also have environments and characters, some brand new and some familiar yet seen in a whole new way. It would not be a stretch to say this is the definitive DS experience. If you enjoyed DS1 and/or DS2 then no doubt you will enjoy this one.

This is my first Souls game. Previously, I played and LOVED Bloodborne which is made by the same developer. New players won't be entirely lost if he or she hasn't played the previous games since you will be filled in as the story unfolds. Now, if you are new to this type of game style, I will warn you; this game will test your patience to a point where you might feel the urge to trade it in. Do not give up. This is about grinding and leveling up your stats and getting better weapons in order to take on that next boss that has you cursing like a sailor. This is what gaming is about.
