Amazing level design, challenging but fair game difficulty.

It's rare when an overhyped game actually lives up to it. This one does. This is a true souls game, so might be a bit of a challenge for the uninitiated, but those who know the series will agree that this is the best one yet. Know this game can be very tough and frustrating... but it just serves to make the satisfaction all the better!

The title says it all. Having played the rest of the soulsborne series, I can honestly say this game was more geared for casual players. First playthrough took me about 35 hours, and I only got hung up on one boss. But even then it only took me five attempts to beat this boss. I'm now on my third playthrough and am still loving it.

This game was worth every penny. Great story line and multiplayer, although the invaders can get a bit annoying here and there, but nothing one can't handle.

Like the two Souls games before it, it's at times punishing and frustrating. But the more you die the more you learn. Stick with it, keep a cool head and you will prevail. Beating a Dark Souls game is one of the most rewarding feelings in gaming. Highly recommend. Good luck, and Praise the Sun!

If you're familiar with the series, these games aren't meant to be easy or for those who give up quickly. It's very challenging but when you end up beating a boss you know you've worked hard for it. Bosses and enemies require that you study them and learn their tactics in order to beat them. It's the best one in the series.

Best game From Software has made to date. Smooth, challenging combat, beautiful scenery, creepy enemies, huge variety of weapons armor and spells to outfit your character with and excellent co-op (when it works) make the game incredibly hard to put down, even when you want to huck your controller at the tv in frustration.

This installment hasn't disappointed and I would say it's better than ds2 from what I've played. There's a lot of lore and characters from the original ds that have made a reappearance. I've probably played through 65 percent of the game and can see this being the game I can continue playing for the following months.

If you've been into a Dark Souls, or even Demon's Souls game before... this game is for you, and it's great. If you started with Bloodborne and are wondering about this, it's harder to recommend, but the game itself is good. It plays differently than Bloodborne though. All in all, would recommend! Two thumbs up.

This game is like climbing a mountain. It's a difficult journey but in the end there is always a feeling of triumph and accomplishment. If you have been a fan of the previous Dark Souls installments, this game is for you. If you've always wanted to jump into Dark Souls, there is not a better game to start with.

This game is flat out amazing. Considering I am a huge fan since the days of Demon Souls I can easily say this game is the BEST in the Dark Souls series. Combat is faster and more fluid. There's lots of exploration and it's great seeing familiar areas from Dark Souls 1. I definitely recommend this game.

Dark souls is historically lauded as the hardest yet most rewarding games in the market today, and dark souls 3 maintains that tradition. Even I, as a souls veteran, have died many times to enemies. It is also extremely rewarding to defeat enemies that were once major challenges. 10/10 would approve

Whether you're a fan of the Dark Souls series or not, this game is great. Super challenging like every DS game, but also very lenient in difficult compared to the other games. If you've played Bloodborne, it does have a touch of that, but combined with the Dark Souls atmosphere and it's mechanics.

Fantastic game! Souls fans know what to expect so I definitely recommend it! Best Souls game so far. Beginners need not be intimidated as the tutorial section walks you through most of what you need to know. Either way, it's a game that will really test your patience but is really fun to play

My first game of this series is it's "little brother" game bloodborne. That game was amazing, this one might be more so. It is everything I hoped for and more so far, I love it, if you haven't played a Dark Souls game then do it now, probably end up being one of my favorite games of all time.

Pretty fun game with few difficult bosses. Really easy to play with friends because of the refined passwords system from Bloodborne.

I've put over 30 hours into this game. It's an absolute blast. The many covenants throughout the game make it easier than ever to play multiplayer PvP, and the many enemies and areas in the game will have you busy for a long time. A worthy conclusion to the Dark Souls series. Pick it up!!!

By now, most gamers know what to expect with the Souls/borne series. Great gameplay that can be frustrating because 99% of the time when you die, it's truly your fault. No bs with bad game mechanics or performance issues. Online is addicting and the replay value is pretty much infinite.

I played all dark souls and this is far the best dark souls game. it wasn't as challenging as the first dark souls but still keep on my toes. Was very disappointment on the new game + the difficulty didn't increase but still a fun ride. If you're a dark souls fan you'll love this game.

Dark Souls 3 is the third installment of the franchise and it doesn't miss a beat. I absolutely loved the difficulty of this game and enjoy every second of it. It's clearly not for everyone but at this point people should be able to tell if these punishing games prove to hard for some.
