I first enjoyed this game when it was released on PlayStation 4, and was delighted to hear that it would be making a release for the Nintendo Switch. Game is perfect for handheld, and I have noticed no issues that are unique to the console. All the added DLC definitely brings more value to the game right from the start, leaving you with plenty of content for your money. Game takes a while to adjust to, especially with the insanity mechanic, but definitely worth a delve if you’re into dungeon crawlers and beautiful animations.

Darkest dungeon is an absolutely phenomenal game, set in a gothic, sortve victorian-fantasy world the player sets to destroy evil creatures infesting his inherited estate. The combat is awesome, the story engaging and truly is appreciated by those who really want to learn and enjoy the core of the game. If you like rpg’s and a feeling of completion (and a bit of masochistism) then you’ll really like Darkest Dungeon( not for the casual player!)

Difficult but fun turn-based strategy game if you enjoy a challenge.

Really enjoying the added portability of a lot of these games, I own a PS4 and an Xbox and still wait to see if stuff like this comes out on Switch before I buy just for the portability

Darkest Dungeon was great on PC. I'm super stoked to have it on Switch. It's a tough game that I've found I enjoy having in a portable format. I recommend it.

This is a good dungeon crawler that was designed for keyboard as mouse but works well on Switch.

This game is really difficult but fun at the same time.

same game as ancestral edition. even the cartridge says "ancestral edition". this is just a cover variant that is seemingly exclusive to bestbuy.

Not what I expected. A very hard game, but rewarding if You put in the time. Very mature themes and dealing with the mental state of your characters. Not for kids.

Darkest Dungeon is a challenging RPG that has somehow managed to stay under the radar. There is so much to customize!
