We bought the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker because we wanted to make the soft boiled ramen eggs (ajitsuke tamago) that they serve at the ramen restaurants. I was having trouble boiling the eggs the traditional way because it was hard to keep the water temperature steady and get the time right. I also found that often when boiling the eggs in water, it was very hard to peel the shell. The Rapid Dash Egg Cooker is a mistake-proof way to make the eggs. After a few trials I found the formula to: 1. fill the water in the included measuring cup to the medium boiled egg, 2. after the cooker turns off, immediately take the eggs out and submerse in an ice bath for 2 minutes. The eggs consistently turn out as it appears in my photos below. We also use it to make hard boiled eggs for the kids in the morning - no need to boil water or set a timer, just fill it with the right amount of water, put the eggs in and press the button.

I have to say i am very glad i got this egg cooker it make 6 perfit boil eggs and makeing poch egg in it is very good also i have already told a couple people about it

The Rapid Egg Cooker lives up to it's name. It is fast and easy to use (and clean). I can cook 7 boiled eggs at a time in roughly 20 minutes and they are ready to eat. My kids love it in the morning as I will start the cooker when I get them up and they have hard cooked eggs by the time they are ready for breakfast. Great product!

Easy to use, compact size doesn't take up valuable cabinet space. Do wish it had a buzzer when it was done. Cooks 6 eggs, although it looks like there is room for 7. Thought something was wrong when it didn't cook, but then noticed I forgot to put the water in - nice safety feature.

I like the size of the egg cooker and it is easy to use. The only drawback is that the eggs are not sitting in a removable tray and so removing the hot, boiled eggs is a little bit of a challenge. Personally, I would not purchase this item again for that reason....if this is not important to the buyer, the item is good.

This looks like a toy but surprisingly works very effectively. I first made boiled eggs on it and they turned out perfectly. The omelettes are easy and good. I would definitely recommend this to egg lovers.Easy to store. Doesn't take up much space.

Perfect for the lazy or the busy. Can boil up to 6 eggs in about 15 minutes using less than a cup of water. Easy to clean. Poaching tray and omelet tray work great other than the limit being two eggs at a time. Not much room for extra ingredients in the omelet tray. Only complaint with the boiled eggs is that if you hard boil them, sometimes the tip of the egg will burn a little on the outside and smell bad, but the egg will taste fine inside.

I was skeptical prior to buying but it makes perfect hard boiled eggs every time!!! So much easier than making them on the stove and it is a breeze to clean up. I've had some brown residue form on the burn plate, but it comes off easily with vinegar (as warned about in the manual).

Following the directions for this is so simple and the ending product is completely amazing. The easiest way to boiled eggs. They cook up so perfectly, the shell is extremely easy to remove afterwards. Highly recommend if you prepare dishes requiring hard or soft boiled eggs.

This is by far the best cooking device I've ever bought. In the mornings I never had time to cook my breakfast but with Dash Rapid Egg Cooker everything is so much easier. I just put the eggs and set it and in 7 minutes it's done. I love this thing.

We are happy with how easy it is to make boiled eggs with this little appliance. The eggs peel very easy and are cooked perfectly. No more hard to peel eggs or gray yolks! However, the pilot light is dim and difficult to tell when it turns off indicating the eggs are done.

This product cooks eggs much easier and faster. It is small and easy to clean.

This gadget is great for quickly and easily making an egg dish. Clean up is a breeze too. Note: Occasionally Ive found extra water is needed to ensure eggs cook long enough.

This is easily one of the best purchases I've ever made. I love hard boiled eggs, but hate the hassle of cooking them. This takes all the time and effort out of making a healthy snack!!! I use this device weekly. Would buy again if it should ever fail.

Love how easy it is to operate...And so stinkin simple....It does a great job at hard boiled eggs....Put them in...Put the water in and punch a button... It turns off as soon as all of the water is gone...What could be any easier...

My husband and I both think this is the greatest kitchen purchase we have made in a long time. It's never been easier to cook hard boiled eggs. The product is small, so storage is not a problem. You won't be disappointed!!.

I purchased this for my morning, I like eating eggs for breakfast but hate cooking them. How hard could it be too cook eggs you ask. Not really but do I really want to stand there at the stove and watch the burner or could I be getting ready and do I really want to wash this pan after I use it? With this egg cooker it can turn it on and walk away, it automatically turns off when all the water evaporates and I get perfect soft boiled or steamed egg. No more guessing if I've kept in the boiling water long enough.

Excellent Product and very reasonable price .It makes boiled eggs ready in 10-15 and by the time i get ready for office and very nice product . I will recommend it to others
