Tech removed hard drive from my virus infected 9-year-old Lenovo desktop snd copied it to a 1TB external drive. Booted it up and transferred selected files to new computer. Everything seems to work fine. Nice thorough job.

We received good service to clean-up our desktop and speed up its functioning. A new hard drive was installed to facilitate this. Only problems were the loss of software programs (which we then had to reinstall) and a temporary copy of the Windows OS, which then led to a message requiring a confirmation of certification number a month later.

The staff at the Geek Squad were able to back up my files from an old Compaq Presario computer. They originally told me it would probably be a couple of weeks (no problem, since I hadn't looked at it in over 10 years). They out did themselves by finishing it in less than 24 hours. Thank you!

Was so thankful for Noah and Kat for helping me transfer data from an old computer to a newer computer. And then also installing my purchase of dragon voice activated software. They were very patient and persevering to get the job done.

the agent who sold me the phone galaxy ultra did a great job of data transfer from the old to the new phone. She helped me understand what was going on and advised on setting up the new passwords and other service/app issues till I was good to go. Took a lot of stress off me.

I needed to download pictures from my husband's phone. Which the agent determined was 2300. The BB agent suggested a flash drive given my circumstances. The agent offered to wipe one of their computers so this could be done. I left my phone with him as directed. I later received a phone call that BB policy had changed and the bb phone should not been left. It was inconvenient but cordially handled. $100 seemed a lot for the service but I was in great need. Tell me that I was not scammed. Thank you.

Data was accurately and quickly transferred from the internal SSD to the SSD I provided. This allowed me to recover the data off the dead computer. The Geek Squad tech knew what was needed and did it.

When I came to get a problem figured out on my phone on what the company needed to get me to fix on my end, the guest representatives were very helpful and explained step by step what I should expect next. Two days later my computer was ready for pick up, and now I can get back to my school work.

Unfortunately, my telephone support Geek Squad maintenance plan I've had for years was not enough to fix my problem. As many of you may know, doesn't everything seem to go wrong at the worst possible time? The hard drive on my very young gently used HP All One completely failed less than a week before I had to go on vacation. I brought it into Best Buy and was advised I should upgrade to the GS total tech support that would cover future in store service and phone support at no cost. I was originally told they wouldn't be able to recover most of my data. I was also told it may need to be shipped out for repair. To my surprise, they were able to fix it in store and as far as I can tell so far, most of my original data was recovered. Geek Squad maintenance plan is a must have for anyone that isn't very tech savvy. A good experience with the agents and a good impression of most. They were very helpful and had my computer ready for me when I returned from vacation.

The geek squad agent, Andrew , was very professional and knowledgeable about my problem. He recommended a new hard drive, backing up all my data and providing this service very quickly. The hard drive has worked very well and all my data was saved. I am very glad I had the geek squad repair my laptop. A strong praise and kudos to your geek squad agent, Andrew, of the Gilroy, Ca store.

The Geek squad is such a wonderful asset to have at Best Buy. All the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.. They were extremely patient and were able to take the time to answer all my questions. They were even able to transfer data which I thought was lost on my old tower to the new one I purchased. This was all done in a timely manner, I must add.
