Data transfer did not include my stored emails on Outlook Express and I was unable to load my 2010 Outlook on the new computer. I launched a new copy of Outlook Express but could not transfer my stored emails. Is it possible to pull these from the hard drive which I saved and add these stored emails to my mail history?

The Geek Squad technician could not do the data transfer because my monitor on our old PC did not work. The technician processed a $50 refund because he could not perform the service. It's been more than 7-10 business days and I still do not have a credit back to my credit card.

They are knowledgeable, helpful and through. Can depend on them.

We are not computer "geeks" so we had the Geek Squad do the data transfer for our 2 new laptops. Other than not getting email addresses transferred (changed from Live Mail to Outlook) from our old computers to new computers it appears everything else is okay.

I had a significant number of categorized and sorted pictures and wanted to ensure they were transferred in tact to the new laptop. Due to the software program and after an hour, the tech said the best he was able to do is transfer the pictures, but I would need to resort them. There were 2000+ which would take hours to place back into folders. After the tech left, I decided to try transferring them on my own. My computer skills are fairly basic, but I do have excellent reasoning skills. As a result, I was able to figure out how to transfer all the pictures as sorted and accomplished it in less than 10 minutes. My advice is to attempt your data transfer first before purchasing this service. I should NOT have paid for this service.

this is worth it; everyone should do it when buying

The agent did not transfer data from old to new computer. did not move prior yr turbo tax to new computer. I cannot get new turbo tax to install on new computer. Agent did not leave any info or guarantee info. nothing that should have come with a Dell computer. Did not set the start up so I could use it. I took it back to the store & they put the password & pin in. The salesman sent out a wireless printer when I explicitly told him I needed a wired one so I still cannot fully use my computer because they said they cannot get here for 20 days!

Sales folks were great. Tech folks at Best Buy were great. Got Geek squad to come out and set me up. Pretty good all around experience!!

I had some problems at first and not all of what I needed transferred was done on the first visit. It was finally taken care of.

David Price said he can’t do the data transfer because it was a raid system. That’s weird that Beast Buys sell a PR4100 but don’t offer service to it? He said that he talk to his boss Chris which told him not to do the job. So the service I request wasn’t done. I waited on this appointment for 3 weeks. All we are doing is data transfer from my 12TB to the system hard drive. He also can’t leave his equipments. What equipment? I have the computer and I have the hard drive. Maybe we just need a cord to transfer the data. Beside I paid for services. So he would have to come back for the second part after the data is transferred. A computer set up!!!
