This is based on the true story of the U.S. Navy"s Dauntless Dive Bombers and it's pilots. When I was a kid I use to build models of military items. The Dauntless was one of them. Is was a wonderful plane. This story line is about the Dauntless and about one pilot that got shot down early on in the battle and saw the whole Battle of Midway from the ocean in his life jacket. He saw some of his buddies go down and saw some of what some what some his buddies turn the tide of the war and sink ship after ship of the Japanese Navy. The special effects are great. If you are into this kind of movie and a little history, This is a must see.

A Midway air battle, which focuses on the US “bombing” squadrons and one crew in particular. CGI battle seas very good. Sea rescue and survival sequences are lengthy and viewer feels it. This is not an epic battle flick. This is a movie about the men in the “ bombing” squadrons: the fears and emotions as they prepare, engage and what happens to them. Based on true events

Good historical movie of Battle of Midway by the pilots who were in it and tried to survive after being shot down by the Japanese. Ending was not what one would expect, OK movie.

I was recently at Pearl Harbor, so I wanted to see the movie and how it related to the bombing of Pear Harbor. THe movie was okay. Had the stars of Judd Nelson and C Thomas Howell. THis movie will get you ready to watch the new release of MIdway coming this month

I was a little disappointed with this one. I was hoping for more combat action, but this one fell short. Nit bad, but not a Great War movie. Just ok.

I watch a lot of war movies. Wasn't bad, but I have enjoyed other versions of Midway that were more interesting to watch.

THE MOVIE WAS GOOD AT THE START BUT IT DRAGGED A BIT AFTERWARD.THERE SHOULD OF BEEN MORE COMBAT SCENES. THE STORY WAS GOOD.ITS WORTH WATCHING.

Not enough has been done about the Pacific theater of World War II. This film helps solve some of that discrepancy

My wife and I were not able to see this movie in our local movie theater and am happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and am looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

Was expecting a good war movie. What I got was a good story, but a poor movie. Hard to follow, very little action.

The action scenes were very realistic but the story was kind of dragging. Although the ending was sad.
