Like several previous animated films, this borrows from the graphic novel, and does so very well. A terrific collection of characters brings this story of a man meeting a son he never knew, tries to teach him a different path, and then takes him on a quest to stop a madman! All in all, an excellent film, and a must for any DC Animation Film Fan!!!

I was amazed at the performance of the voice actors as it showed they put effort into acting this out professionally. By far my favorite now, Under the Red Hood was my favorite before this. The soundtrack is good too, would like to have an OST of this soon hopefully. I recommend this to anyone who likes Batman and the Comics as I heard it follows it well.

    A Little Weird At Points

There are parts of this movie that I really enjoy. But there are other parts that leave me scratching my head. I liked the overall idea and story line. I liked the cast of characters. I enjoyed when Nightwing got there. It just was weird watching Deathstroke, "He is, without question, the world’s greatest assassin and one of the most feared people on the planet."-DC Comics website, lose constantly to a 12 year old. I know Damian is the son of Batman and Talia al Ghul. I know he was raised in the League of Shadows. But Slade has got to have at least 30 years experience on this kid and can barely seem to even get a hit in. Maybe he can't find it in himself to kill a kid, I don't know. So other than that it was a fine movie. The acting was good. The writing was good. The animation and cinematic style was good. I wouldn't say it's a must buy, but maybe if you can get it on sale it's worth picking up.

This movie is awesome. I can honestly say it is enjoyable. It has all the things I look for in a action movie, acting, stylized violence and a good story. This movie has a little bit much violence for a animated movie, at least it was to me but I like it lol. And do recommend this to anybody who's interested in watching it or renting, it's worth it.

Excellent movie and a must-buy for any fans of Batman, especially if they are fans of the graphic novels. I bought the Blu-ray version, and it really shows great on my TV. Please don't expect much on the figurine, since it is more like a miniature plastic figurine than it is a toy. Overall, I love the movie and glad that I have it in my collection.

The League of Assassins has been betrayed and under attack. Talia al Ghul has to flee for her life, and also her son's. To protect him, Talia brings him to his father, Batman, who is unaware that they had a child. Can Batman keep his own son alive? You'll have to watch to find out. Great story originally from Grant Morrison.

DC contines to outpace Marvel Comics in animated films and if they can learn to harness this into their live actions films like they have with the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy and Man of Steel films then they will give Marvel Comics a RUN for their box office money. Each dc animated film that's been released has been high caliber AMAZING!

I was not familiar with the book or the character (Damien Wayne) but this was a great way to be introduced. Another side to the Bat-coin! Get this movie, you will not be disappointed. One last thing, it would be a great idea for DC to do a solo Nightwing project. I think everyone would like to see it at this point in time, so get it done DC!

The storyline/plot of this movie was great. There are a lot of gaps to fill in from previous DC comic versions of the Ra's series and they do a pretty good job with them. The choreography of the fights scenes is excellent but once again, you have to put away any kids under 13. This movie definitely earned its rating.

Since I am new to some of the newer story arcs in comics this was all fresh to me. Having said that some of the movie was missing what I would consider key items to make it a great DC animation. However getting the figure and the issue of what defines revenge verses vengeance was an interesting item to ponder.

The only reason I didn't give it five stars for acting is because it is an animated movie and you can't really see acting there. Overall the storyline is great and the action is even better. If you are a comic book person like myself then you will love it. I'm not even a DC Universe person. I'm more Marcel and I still loved it

I was hesitant in getting involved w/ the concept of batman having a son but this movie and the others that followed was an impressive story line. Like the fact it is a little more mature content-based.

I have been collecting the DC animated movies with the figurines since Wonder Woman. I and am finding them harder and harder to find due to stores having a limited quantities. I ended up ordering the previous movie from Amazon due to being unable to order it from Best Buy online or find it in the store in my area.

This movie is good, not great...I would recommend it for anyone who likes the DC Animated Movies...its worth a watch...voice acting is good, but you cant beat Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman...or Mark Hamill as the Joker...though Troy Baker is doing a great job as the voice of Joker lately.

This is the story of Batman and his son Damian. Damian was trained by the League of Assassans led by his grandfather Ra's Al Gul. When Ra's is betrayed by his once student and killed, Ra's daughter Talia takes her son to Gotham City to meet his father, Batman. This is a good story and the animation is great.

Nothing against the new 52 but stay away from making pre 52 story lines with imagery of the new 52. And don't ever and I mean ever let Dharma and Greg's Greg voice Deathstroke. Romano you should be ashamed of yourself on that one. Other than that it's enjoyable and a must for Batman fans.

Great artwork and character voices. How can you beat a story about Batman's son who is is smart with fighting skills? (Don't want to give too much away.) I wish the characters could have been developed more, but that's always the case when you read the book, then see the movie.
