This game is an underrated gem of A game. The action and gory intensity , is enough to keep you on the edge of your seat. the Melee combat is extremely fun and when you add three other players it becomes a must play.The story line thought is sadly bland and almost emotionless there are a couple points that have you gasping or even crying but there are some points in the story where the characters share the emotions of a rock.but over all i loved the game and Cant wait to buy the sequel.

One of the best games I have played in quite awhile. I get absorbed in it and before I know it a couple hours have gone by. This game really recreates the zombie apocalypse feel. Many times I have been wandering around in the game and had a zombie jump out of nowhere to literally make me jump. Great experience.

This is a very cool game. My son loves it and it freaks out his sister which makes it even better for him. I don't play a lot of video games but while playing with my son found myself realy enjoying it. Crazy cool graphics and audio. Defnitiely a game for the older kids not the little ones.

Anyone who like zombie movies will like this game. Better than just a shooter game, this game requires planning and allows you to fight off zombies in different ways besides just shooting them. Nice open world game play, this is one of the better open world games I have ever played.

The story on this zombie game is great. The gameplay is a lot of fun but a little repetitive.

All the usual elements of an RPG like buying & selling weapons, modding weapons, collecting other items, and tons of missions. With the bonus of zombies. Dead Island was so much better Dead Rising or any of the newer Resident Evil games. If you want a zombie game get it or one of the Left 4 Dead games. Looking forward to the new Dead Island Riptide coming out soon.

I don't know why these other people ain't giving this good reviews but this is a great game there's 5 different types of people you can be with all different stories and powers this is a great game and I can't wait for the second one

I love love love this game. The engineering and development of this game is still better than most games released today.

Bought this for my oldest son he enjoyed playing it. Even though he passed it he goes back to it once in a while

Overall, Dead Island looks like a decent game...just not my 'cup of tea'. Lots of weapon choices help to freshen up the zombie game genre, but I found myself getting a bit bored and stopped playing well before the end of the campaign. I'd recommend this to fans of RPG but not necessarily those who like constant action arcade style games.

If you love zombie movies, then you'll love this game.
