A great third installment to a story that good easily translate to a blockbuster movie franchise. This is what game should be, to immerse yourself into a story that you have control of the main character. The addition of co-op is a great a extra but not necessary for the game. I do recommend playing the first two games so as not to be lost in story.

I found it interesting. Interface was better than expected.

Game story line still is strong. However, I think it is time for the franchise to begin to expand more into it to keep the audience glued to the franchise. The game has its moments that put you in your toes but for the most part it keeps you in suspense all around.

Excellent follow up. Building weapons is phenemonal. Dual play as two different characters was an added bonus. The game lasts a good long while - you actually feel like you got your money's worth. Over all - STELLAR!

One of the only truly scary games you can play. It still holds up years later. For the final installment, Visceral added co-op capability, so your friend's can experience the terror too!

A great example of how not to infuse co-op in your game. I picked this up for about $20 after I played the previous two games, but soon discovered that unless you are playing co-op it is impossible to complete the game with all side missions, collectibles and weapon upgrades. The story and gameplay are just so-so, unless you got a buddy with you ready to tackle the co-op sections then don't bother.

Only bought this because I needed a shooter fix. I like shooters but I can do without the horror aspect but , it is not a deal breaker.

The game is fun to play and offers a lot of interaction. What I particularly don't like is a lack of auto-targetting within the game. The targets can sometimes move incredibly quickly and it's difficult to lock-on while trying to run and shoot. Also, difficult to identify from which direction you may be getting ambushed. I guess I'm more of a novice player but those two features (or lack of) made me stop playing the game.

It's a great game, although the series started to go downhill a little at this point. Worth playing particularly with backward compatibility now enabled.

Love the series and I'm so happy they finally made co-op. I always wanted to play it with my friends and try to survive. Overall great game, haven't tried multilayer

I had purchased this to go with my Dead Space Collection. I have all of the games now and I enjoy each and every one of them.

Dead space one and two are a lot better but this one is still amazing

I enjoyed it. The changed weapons system and new characters plus the attention to details. The landscape looks very real except for all the dead things.
