My Wife an I have been keeping our eyes our for this one, we were at Best buy a few weeks ago, and came across the bundle. We enjoyed the series, but too late to take advantage of the original offerings after the series concluded. Best Buy had it at a great price, and on Blu-ray to boot.

A window into what the west was like in the early days of our developing country. Dirty, gritty, harsh, it never lets up. You really have to adjust to the language. It is unsettling at first, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying a great series from HBO. Even though it is a series from several years ago, it still holds up. Engaging and well done.

Loved this series. I hated when it came to an end. This is not for everyone, definitely not for children. This series is raw, with profane language, nudity, sex, and violence. The acting is superb. This is fiction mixed with historical fact. Great endeavor by everyone involved in the making of this series.

Deadwood falls into place like a Shakespeare play and the dialogue does so even more. It’s poetry on screen. Great acting. Great writing. What’s not to love?!?

Fantastic show that isn't full of the cliche western culture of the 60s. This has a good plot, great character development and keeps you engaged.

Have been looking for this series for a good prices and finally found it at Best Buy. Add this to your collection and it won't disappoint.

There are two versions of this series, one with a digital copy and one without. Anytime I have them ship me one it's the one without. Unfortunately they have the same UPC codes so if you want the correct one have to find it in store.

Loved this series when it was on. Lots of great western history and all true. Happy to have it in my collection..

While Game of Thrones is currently must see TV, and I own all the seasons (blu-ray still crushes cable, satellite and streaming when it comes to quality due to compression) but HBO's prime for me was a decade plus back, the years of the Sopranos, Rome, The Wire and my favorite - Deadwood. The blu-ray looks and sounds just phenomenal. It's filmic, dark and gritty when it needs to be, and bright and antique looking almost at other places. The sound is uncompressed and well mixed, and there's a nice bundle of bonus material featured for those interested in diving in deeper. One of the most interesting (and disheartening) bonus features is creator David Milch walking around the amazing set that was used to film Deadwood, talking about where he would have liked to take the next seasons and where characters might have gone.

I loved this series when it was on HBO. I wanted to watch it again so I purchased the series.

This western series has a lot of cussing and violence but it's an entertaining western series .

Al and Bullock are the two best leads of a series you could ask for. Amazing series.

Deadwood, however short lived, was a great show. The blu ray set is fantastic. However, HBO does not include a digital copy code in it.

Hit a great deal on this for $36. It starts of really slow and takes a while to get going but amazing character acting.

HBO has consistently produced the most amazing series. Deadwood is a crystal-clear picture of life in the primitive, rugged old west. It is a brutal, harsh depiction of life without our comforts and conveniences. The characters become, everyone of them, as real as your own family and friends. Love them or hate them, you can almost feel them. It should give you a greater appreciation of just how hard life really was. The language is coarse and vulgar, elaborate and convoluted in turns, but certainly never dull. The only negative to Deadwood is that there were not 20 seasons or a movie.

Good and entertaining show Wish it didn’t end so fast. Worth the money
