I purchased this on sale & found it to be the best price available. I watched the show on HBO & really enjoyed it. Wish they would have made a few more seasons. Great characters

great series, if you like "hardcore" shows, then this ones for you. the wild west has never been grittier or more fun

Do you like great acting, swearing, nudity, drinking, drug use, and violence? You should probably own Deadwood, then!

This is a fantastic show whether you like westerns or not. Great characters with believable story arcs. The special features are top notch and plentiful.

hbo tv series of a age of american history with a real twist on the gold strike with characters rich in their acting. 13 blu-ray disc at a unbelivable price!

Typical HBO packaging, well organized lay out. My only gripe is minor -each season opens up like a five page pamphlet, a little of a pain when I'm trying to get to the next disc.

I loved this show when it first came out on HBO. I didn't buy it when it first came out on Blu-ray because it didn't come with a digital copy, they have fixed that.

Only saw 1 episode as I do not subscribe to HBO in mu cable service. The episode caught my attention so much I had to buy it on Blu-Ray when it went on sale.

Deadwood is one of the greatest shows ever made. The performances, the writing, and the acting are all top notch.

Great series....wish it was longer need another season or two. You start watching and get drawn in to a time of lawlessness. Could watch it over and over.

Gave my dvd series to a friend. Had to have it on blu-ray because it's such a great series.

I have not yet found the time to watch this series for myself, but based on what friends of mine (friends that share the same taste in TV series' as myself) have told me, I gave it 4 stars. It may very well end up deserving 5 stars, but I can't give it 5 stars before watching it.

the show is like sopranos meets the old west. theres profanity, violence, and sexual situations that only HBO coud bring you.

A well-made store of the early days of Deadwood. Conversations are twice as long because of the foul language that is omnipresent. The HBO transfers to DVD require constant setup for some of the options.
