Good love story movie not the best one out there but ok to watch.

Lets set it up: I am a Male, just finished my Freshman year in College, and I am 19. I am also a huge movie buff and have seen thousands of films. Ok the movie is a pretty good movie, if you liked The Notebook you would probably like this movie. It is a standard chick flick and a standard Nicholas Sparks story. But neither is a negative factor, it is a happy movie about a young couple falling in love during the summer with the usual Nicholas Sparks twists and turns. You will laugh and cry, and overall enjoy this film. Watch it with your girlfriend/wife and enjoy it, but don't expect anything Oscar worth (come on these are some young actors without a lot of experience.)

This is a movie typical of Nicholas Sparks and along the same lines as The Notebook. A good movie to watch. I cried, as it does have sad parts, but still a great movie and a must see!

I bought this DVD in BestBuy and i loved the movie ! It is very emotional,romantic and has a lot of drama. I loved it even more because i think Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum are great actors. If your considering on buying this DVD, you really should !

This movie was wonderful overall. I loved the plot, but I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't read the book. Some of the changes are very dramatic. They are both amazing separately, but cannot be compared.

I really enjoyed this movie. Having read the book first I was surprised at the changes namely the ending but I know they do that for different reasons. The book ending is the "alternate ending" in the special features. This is one I can watch over and over

I really liked it up until the ending. It kind of leaves you hanging? Like there is going to be a part 2 to the movie. That is the only down side that I personally found.

Great movie!!! One of my all time favorites. Actors were good also as well as the story line! It will make you cry and laugh! Defiantly recommend!!

I got dragged into watching this "chick flick" in theatres by a couple of girls, but I tried to be positive and open-minded. This movie was so very lifeless that not only did it put me to sleep, the girls with me even thought it was a terrible waste of time. And that's putting it nicely. Seriously, just go ahead and watch the Notebook for the 45th time.
