Everything that people, even fans, had issues with in DS1 has been addressed. Things were a little slow in the early-game? You got a bike and a gun within a couple hours. Kinda lost on the world-building? Exhaustive codex on lore and the story so far. It's a simply improved DS1. Not to mention the game is gorgeous and running incredibly well on base-ps5

Perfect continuation to the stor, top tear story,acting, gameplay

Look Death Stranding is a great game. It is an interesting concept, crazy characters, simple but complex gameplay. Part 2 is more of the same. Do not come here expecting Mario on NES to Mario Odyssey on Switch. This is a sequel in the way Madden games are, slight improvements, tighter controls but more of the same. Will you like this game? Only if you enjoyed the first one.

I'm currently about 30 hours into the game and it improves on its predecessor in every way. The biggest improvement comes from the pacing. You're given so many tools early on that tailor to however you're aiming to play, either via stealth or full on aggression. The graphics are top notch and the in-game music player is greatly appreciated. Definitely a contender for game of the year!!

Been playing the first one alot in anticipation of this, and couldnt be happier with it! Really refines the systems that were present in the first game and keeps it fresh. Definitely pick this up if you enjoyed the first game, but it may be an easier point of entry for new players to the series, if you can get caught up on the story from the first game.

Kojima does it again. You won't find games more artistically driven than this, with a deep story and rich gameplay mechanics that seem basic on the surface but can be morphed in so many different ways. The Decima engine looks fantastic. This is one of the most photo realistic looking games

This is one of the most beautiful games ever made it is absolutely fun to play and unlike most games free of bugs and performance issues. I highly recommend this epic Tale and all out masterpiece of Gaming.. Offline story-driven single-player games are the only games of worth

Kojima did it again. Gameplay is incredibly fun, locations are atmospheric, and the soundtrack is incredible.

Fantastic game. I’m about half way through and I can say that Kojima listened to the haters. Beautiful story and graphics, gameplay is satisfying and fun (yes, you’re still delivering but there are many items at your disposal to assist with it). Cutscenes are out of this world in terms of quality and acting. Thank you Kojima-san

Beautiful video game. Yes you walk a lot, yes you deliver things. But take a moment to appreciate it’s simplicity and touching story and you wont be disappointed. No this game isn't for everyone, and no not everyone will like it. But for those who can appreciate a bit of weirdness with well fleshed out characters and Kojima-ness, you’ll enjoy this if you give it a chance.

Fantastic sequel improving on almost every mechanic from the first game. Kojima must miss making Metal Gear games because he intentionally references MGS more in this game. It has a lot more stealth and combat than DS1 and feels more like a stealth action game. It's like a mix of DS1 and Metal Gear 5.

I'm still pretty early on in the game but if you're a fan of the first game, I definitely recommend it. It's a lot of familiar aspects of the first game but with enough new features and scenarios to keep it interesting. Definitely play Death Stranding 1 before this game so you know what's going on.
