Gave this game a chance since I love Metal Gear. At first this seemed like it would be to much of a grind but it's surprisingly fun. Been playing it a lot and it's engrossing. Very weird for sure but fun.

I’ve always loved Kojima and the metal gear series and I Lawson loved this game. It’s not for everyone I will day and is often very slow paced but the open world and graphics are fantastic.

Deff game of the year contender. This game might not be for all people so do your research, but the story in this game is very deep and thought provoking.. makes you really think about the world.

This game is very good with a great original story. The problem is it takes a good 10 hours for the the items to become available and for your arsenal to open up. The steelbook art is incredible!

Death Stranding will leave you asking yourself what did I just play. It’s a game that if you are patient you will witness the evolution of gaming from one of gaming greatest creators... If your looking for something that is outside the box of your normal gaming time this is it...

Thsi is a very polarizing game. The story is bonkers, the characters are as Kojima as ever, and you're basically moving packages from point A to point B....and I loved every minute of it.

This game has sucked me in. There is a lot of complaining about the game and it being "boring" i find this coming from people that are engrossed with competitive multiplayer games like Fortnight, COD or Apex Legends. If that is the gameplay you want do not play this game. This game has a serine feel to it. From the landscape to the music it is almost an outer body experience. Its hard to explain but a game built predominantly on "fetch quests" has become the staple to my collection. And I feel that this game is the perfect swan song to PS4 taking all the components and making it great. I have played about 40hrs on it and look forward to continuing further

This is hands down game of the year. While it may not be for everyone, the game play is very addictive and the story is classic Kojima. If you own a PS4 you should check this game out.

Great game, got this on sale and was worth it. the steelbook is nice, the gameplay is bit weird. But it takes some getting used to. Overall, great game

After playing for a few hours I have to say I am enjoying it. It’s more than just a walking simulator, some cutscenes are kinda long but I am liking this game overall.

Great game! More like playing a movie with some pretty intense bits. Still playing and haven’t finished fully. Def pick it up if u want an interesting story.

Death Stranding is a different experience and if you're open to playing new experiences, pick it up plan and simple. Special edition wraps this up in a nice steelbook package.

I love movies, so the movie-like aspect of this game + the actors and actresses in the game + Hideo Kojima is genius + the weirdness/sci-fi/horror of the game = AMAZE-BALLS

The steelbook looks very nice, it’s not perfect though. The disc has to be bent out of the case in order to be removed, you can’t pop it out unfortunately. I’m sure this will cause wear in the future.

Who knew a game about delivering packages would be so fun?!! It's crazy right? It's not for everyone, but give it a rental first. The visuals and the acting are top level

Kojima is back and he didn’t disappoint , what a great relaxing game that goes beyond imagination into a beautiful green world. Might start slow but worth it in the end.

Great Game! A little slow paced, but graphics are breath taking and the story is still a mystery to me haha. If you're a Hideo Kojima fan, you won't be disappointed.

Very difficult game in the early stages, but slowly becomes easier as you adapt and gain a range of new tools. Story is bananas. And the steel book case is awesome.

Incredible story-telling and a unique game that captures environment more than gameplay. If you love MGS and Kojima's writing, you'll love this one.

Really enjoying this game, its different than most games I have played but it is fun and the graphics are really good. I am enjoying the cinematics as well.
