If you like Hideo Kojima games, you will like this one. The story is top notch and the graphics are amazing. The gameplay is a little bit slow at the beginning but it starts getting fun towards the end. I highly recommend this game for fans of Kojima's work.

Death Stranding is peak Kojima. It’s a commentary on society, life and death, and showcases Hideo Kojima’s obsession with American culture and politics. I think about this game when I’m not playing it, which is what it wants. The game is more than a “walking simulator”, although that is much of the game. It’s some of the most satisfying walking you’ll do in a game, I would argue. The game itself is beautiful to look at. It’s also super intense and nerve wracking when you run to to enemies. It’s definitely not for everyone. If you’re looking for non-stop action and to turn your brain off, this isn’t the game for you. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, tense experience, then maybe this is. If you’re not sure, I suggest waiting for a sale.

Outstanding game! Very long and drawn out if you love just venturing about which i quite enjoy. Easy to get lost in just wandering, Great graphics and story line. If your running an atmos system even up scaled sounds beautiful!

The game play is different than any game. You walk a lot to deliver items in this game. It is very slow paced. The visual and sound are good. You would enjoy it if you like “Kojima”type stories.

First things first, yes you play a UPS guy delivering packages. But the storyline goes batcrap crazy in typical Kojima fashion. Its awe inspiring. A must play even if to ride out this crazy train of a narrative.

If dont like slow gameplay, repetitive gameplay, lots of back tracking, long cutscene, heavy narrative. This is not a game you are not going to like. Other wise you will love it. Recommend first to see videos before making your purchase decision.

Death Stranding is a unique game from every corner you look at it. Design, graphics, story. You have to play it for a while to get into it. give it sometime and you will be rewarded. I hope the sequel does things differently though.

Originally I didn't know what to think about this one, but having actually played it, I can say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a solid, meditative 60 hours of gameplay, a much easier to digest story, and it all looks great.

It is a good game, if you have fun with its entertaining story and it has many hours of gameplay, ignore what people say that it is an uber eat simulator.

The game overall is very fun, and the world building is great. My only complaint is that the controlls can be a little difficult, and it can get boring just running around delivering stuff.

I will say this game isn’t for everyone, but I enjoyed the story, the graphics, and concept overall. This is definitely a slow burn kind of game, so take your time with it.

This game takes a long time to really get into and process what is happening. However, once it is done, you are in for the story of a lifetime. It is very emotional and breathtaking at many points. Can not recommend this enough.

Great game! I'm only about 3hrs in so far but it has been a lot more fun that I expected it to be. If you are expecting tons of action or a call of duty type game, then this is definitely not for you. However, if you are open something new, give a try. If I explained that so far all you do is balance yourself and deliver packages across a crazy town, it'll sound pretty boring..but once you are playing, it is actually a lot of fun. This aside, I have a high quality surround sound system I have invested over 10k in by now and the soundtrack on this game is absolutely awesome. Great LFE and wonderful use of surround speakers. Last but not least, the graphics and in game visuals are great. Highly recommend the game!

Worth the wait for me. Been excited since day one, because the trailers were so weird. Great game, beautiful graphics and lots of crazy stuff going in the game. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful and compelling game.

Gameplay literally is delivering packages across United States, might not be for everyone, but for those who enjoy a good story and helping others, enjoying beautiful landscapes and a great soundtrack, this game is for you.

As to be expected, Kojima made a very interesting game that has been polarizing the gaming community. Glorified delivery boy simulation or deep narrative on modern social and political constructs....or both....or neither. Open to interpretation to every person. However, in terms of game mechanics has a lot of detail put into it and a fair bit of strategy regarding how to organize packages for optimum balance and efficiency, prevent degradation of your packages, etc. Graphics are phenomenal. Huge world side. I'd recommend to someone looking for a beautiful game with a story that no-one (even Kojima) probably really understands but that is fun nonetheless.

This was one of my most highly anticipated games of the year. The name Hideo Kojima holds a lot of weight in the gaming community. While I did enjoy the game, it wasn't exactly what I expected or wanted from this A-lister project. Despite Excellent Graphics, fantastic voice work, and a completely Original story. I couldn't recommend this game to most people. As it's a very slow burn at the start. Not suitable for the A.D.D. attention span many have today. But, if you enjoy a strange though provoking single player experience check this game out. It's nice to know they still make unique original games, and not just remakes, and sequels with a large budget.
