Bruce Willis strikes home again with this excellent remake of the 1970's Charles Bronson film. Pleasantly different enough from the original but yet still packs a great deal of action and some drama. If your a fan of Bruce Willis then you will love this film. I don't recommend letting smaller children watch this movie due to the graphic nature and content.

If you pretend like the original never existed then you should be able to enjoy this remake.

A new update to an old favorite of mine. Willis does a great job as a vigilante run amok.

Action was good but acting was just ok. Needed a stronger story line and more drama.

There are some reviews out there claiming this remake undermines or disses the original Charles Bronson series. I honestly believe it doesn't while giving a Paul Kersey for this era. I won't spoil it any more than I may already have, this is more of a "see for yourself" kinda deal.

I am familiar with the original Death Wish movies played by Charles Bronson which brought serious vigilante style action to the screen back in the day. Bruce Willis brings this same personality and style to today's screen in this modern remake and doesn't disappoint..If you're a fan of Willis you will appreciate his attitude in this film.

Guess I expected too much from the movie, wish I hadn't paid quite so much.

As a big Bruce Willis fan, until I realized that the character he portrays in Death Wish, isn't as prone to violence as those he usually plays, I was wanting more action. During the repeat viewings I appreciated the character development. Having been a small arms instructor, I like some of the problems he faces.

Had to watch this movie about 3 times before I could understand.

It was a decent movie but the remake is never as good as the original

This is a remake of the popular Death Wish series with Charles Bronson. This time it is Bruce Willis in the starring role and he is a Chicago trauma doctor, rather than a New York City architect, who is out to avenge the murder of his wife. Not as good as the original but has some good action.

Great price for a movie I was looking for for a while.

This is a remake from an original done by Charles Bronson some forty-four years ago! It has been updated and enjoyable to watch with Bruce Willis! If your a fan you'll enjoy this version with the action and story line! Plenty of special features including deleted scenes! Great picture in HD and sound! Highly recommend.

This is a good remake but it's not as good as the original.

It is a good movie to kill time with. Same old plot.

Bruce Willis does what he does best in this violent remake.

Bruce willis usually makes really, really movies. This one adds to the many great movies that he has been in for his entire film career. If you have seen all the original Deathwish movies in the franchise it has a different lead actor from the original but it was still a great movie.

Some movies shouldn't be remade. This is one of them.

So keep that in mind when thinking about this review. I'm old enough to remember the original from the 70s, I'm a fan of Bruce Willis, and I like a little action film every now and then. I'm not going to let politics play into this I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride.
