Customers are saying

Customers enjoy Deathloop's solid gameplay, immersive story, and clever concept. Many praise the game's action, voice acting, and overall value for the price. However, some feel the ending could be improved, and a few mention issues with the AI and controls. The game's difficulty seems to be a point of both praise and some criticism, depending on player preference.

This game is very overrated. It looks fine and is technically sound, but very disappointing. Supposedly things change when/if you die, however the game is too easy that none of the stuff comes into play. I would have rather had Dishonored 3 instead.

The enemies in this game can be a bit dense, but the gameplay is unlike any other game I’ve played, and the graphics have the stylistic flair that I’m not sure would have been possible on last gen hardware. If you enjoyed Dishonored, you’ll likely love this game too since they share the same developer.

Such a fun idea for a game. The first hour was kind of strange, but once I was able to really get an understanding of the mechanics, everything clicked and I was super excited about playing. Got the Platinum trophy on the PS5 and hope there's DLC once it's released on Xbox.

I see this game gets great reviews and we are all entitled to our opinions, but the acting is just bad that I turned it off after the second mission. Haven't gotten deep into it but so far, not seeing why it is a 10/10 I would say 8 / 10 graphics look amazing and the audio (aside of acting) is great

I’ve always been a fan of Arkane games, and Deathloop is no different. It’s a cool time loop mechanic that allows the story to unravel as you find out more about each time of the day and unlock new areas. There is a lot of replay ability and multiple endings. Def worth giving it a try.

I loved the dishonored games and i also enjoyed deathloop for the most part. But i will say that i hrew bored of the 4 maps after a little while. And the ending almost ruined my whole experience, ita unfortunate that they had to rush the story. But mpst of the gameplay was very fun and fluid.

Deathloop is hands down one of the best games on ps5 if you like other Arkane games like dishonored you should like this it’s very similar but with a funnier tone and also of course a loop type mechanic also the game lasted me about 14-15 hours it’s just a great game all around.

An incredible new game from Arkane. Must play for people who have been curious about immersive sims but for whom maybe they haven’t totally clicked in the past. This is a much more accessible entry point to the genre. Great gameplay, great worldbuilding, and great characters.

My son took over my PS5 with this game. A lot of fun, puzzles throughout, and a great price for what you get. It'll make you keep a lookout for clues and entertained with building your arsenal strategy. BestBuy price-matched GameStop so I got it for a great deal!

Fun so far, it is a game you need to set aside time for, because the way it is structured you can't pick up, play for a few minutes, and save your progress. You have to plan and make sure you are able to get back to the tunnels to save your progress, you can't save anytime. So not the best game if you have kids or not a whole lot of time to play. Looking forward to someday having more time to invest in the game, because I have enjoyed it so far.

As they said in the magazine's that have already reviewed this, it's a great game an it has so many twists and turns. You need to just watch it like a movie to see every little thing (I don't know if you can). This is what a game looks like when you are not in the box!

A good game overall though may be a bit overrated by some of the 10/10s it has received. The game's concept is novel with the game repeating itself as you find ways to assassinate key targets in order to break the loop. In a way it is similar to Hitman since you're given four sandboxes to play through that have varying layouts that changes depending on the day. While the game is fun overall with the powers, trinkets, and weapons you can use, after some time you do feel like you have seen everything the game has to offer due to the fact that there are only four maps you can play with. I do appreciate that none of the enemies are spongy and you can go through the entire game using stealth or charging head first (though the latter feels more difficult until you have acquired better powers and weapons). If you can find the game on sale, I can recommend the game without question for 12-15 hours game.

I got a really great deal on this game at Best Buy. Love the price at only $19.99 and I used a $5 coupon reward I had saved. So for $14.99 I couldn’t let this slip by. Great addition to my ps5

A must buy. The graphics, gameplay, and story are all top notch. Colt and Juliana are funny, well written characters. It's also cool that there is a little bit of optional PvP in the game as well (you can invade other players games as Juliana).

Good game and nice graphics. Different type of game. Sort of like dishonored but you might die more. It’s a good game that has a lot of replay and it’s fun. Get it on sale and you will be happy

As a fan of dishonored and it being one of my favorite games I had a lot of hope going into this game. While in fact the game was very fun and completely new I wouldn't say it was my favorite game. If you love the art style of dishonored I would definitely recommend playing this game. As for the online aspect of the game its somewhat laggy, glitchy, and matchmaking takes a very long time, making you think the player base is all of three people. Other than that not a game changer to the gaming genre, however is very fun and something different. Beautiful art style similar to Dishonored.

This game is good, it takes time to get use to and the game doesn't help you to often. It will show you what to do and just leave you to figure it all out. But the powers are cool and multi-player is cool. And very happy you can turn it off and on.
