A classic that’s always good to watch over and over.

I liked Deep Blue Sea but this sequel is really bad... real bad. Do not even consider this movie. The special effects and props are all low budget and it shows. The cast are a bunch of unknowns, like what you expect on the SfiFy channel

What a piece of trash this is pretty much a remake of the first film which is amazing movie not perfect but fun this low budget garbage acting sucks effects suck do yourself a favor and watch the first 1 stay far away from this

Is a bad copy of the original film almost identical but 1000 miles away from the quality of the original Deep Blue Sea.Is not worse to spend time watching it.It won't show you nothing new .Trust me.

This was very crappy attempt of remaking the first film with a low budget the acting was ok there was 1 cool shark kill but everything else was horrible stay away

I guess they tried to 1 up the original and in my book failed miserably. From poor CGI to just a all around sad story line. Would not waste the brain cells to watch this. You have been warned.

I would not recommend this movie to anyone. A ripoff of the original and a waste of time to make. Stick to the original on this one.

I loved Deep Blue Sea. Yes, it's not a perfect film, and you could argue it's not even a "good" film, but it was incredibly entertaining and its thriller moments truly built up a sense of dread. For being a shark movie, Deep Blue Sea gave its all, and thus had several good scenes that included a surprise ending. Deep Blue Sea 2 takes all of what Deep Blue Sea brought and makes it terrible. Not only is the film slow to start after the initial oomph moment, taking about 40 minutes to really get to the nitty-gritty action, but it supplies nothing new. Instead of building on to what Deep Blue Sea started, they go with an "original" premise. Which isn't bad, but then it goes the route of every shark/monster movie. Deep Blue Sea, while not having the most original ending, did have unique survivors. Deep Blue Sea 2 goes the generic route and doesn't even try. Everyone you think is going to die does indeed die, and those you think are going to live do indeed live. There's only one exception to this, and even then it's not terribly surprising. Worst of all are the thriller segments. Deep Blue Sea had fantastic thriller moments, where the tension and dread was high. Deep Blue Sea 2 has some solid thriller moments, where the tension is piled high, but it then usually ruins them by turning such scenes into typical jumpscares. In conclusion, Deep Blue Sea 2 is just another shark movie. If you enjoyed Deep Blue Sea, there's a 50-50 chance you'll like this one. If you simply want a shark movie to sate the itch, it will work fine. There's a lot of exposition, but the action scenes are decent. Just keep in mind--it does take a while to really start, but it's still a nice, clean-looking film, so you may find it at least visually appealing during the slow moments. If you happen to be looking for a hidden treasure, skip this film or rent it first.

The original Deep Blue Sea is a guilty pleasure movie. This is a SyFy level sequel. We had a few laughs but it's a shame fans waited so long for THIS

DEEP BLUE SEA 3 IS OUT BECAUSE I DID BUY THIS JUST LOOK 4 IT ANYWAYS IT'S A GREAT FOLLOW UP TOO 2.

Do not waste your movie. Cheap remake of the original with horrible special effects.
