Entertaining shark vs people movie, good cast, special effects aren't spectacular in hi def but I liked it enough to buy it.

Great thriller, shocking that Samuel L. Jackson bit the dust

This was a great shark movie, my wife and I loved it! Best one since Jaws, (have there been any others?) The acting was great (minus LL Cool J), the plot was decent, and there's plenty of shark action! If you were a fan of Jaws, I think you'll enjoy this movie. I highly recommend it! (Just ignore LL Cool J. It still baffles me how he keeps ending up with roles in movies, he's a terrible actor! I would say it's for popularity, but he hasn't been popular since the early 90s.)

Bottom line is this. If your going to do a shark movie, you need to try and upstage the master. Jaws 1&2 are far superior to this movie. I had fun with this movie, jumped a few times and do recommend it as a watchable movie. It does however lack in so many areas. The sharks more often than not look blatantly fake, the plot line is mediocre at best and the actors, if you can call them that, definitely weren't chosen for another roll based of there "acting" in this movie! All in all though, its a movie worth watching. I'm actually going to buy it, now that its on sale for $7.99. I definitely say its worth that price. If your a horror fan, and are as much a fan of Jaws as I am, then you will need to set aside the perfection of that film in order to watch this one. If your in the market for a good "Killer Shark Story", do yourself a favor and buy Jaws. Even if you've seen it 100 times like I have, It blows this movie far, far, far outta the water.

I just had this movie last week on blue ray but before i saw that in theater,i think it's an outstanding movie that has a big time suspense and great screen shots and a very clear picture just wonderful movie of killer sharks that are so realistic,the only thing i say is the price is little more for being an ten years old movie,but it's well worth to watch it !!!!!

I love stupid movies where mutant animals take over the planet. This has all the best stuff from those movies, plus a really good plot and action and scare factor that puts it above B Movie status. It is AWESOME. If you like scary movies or shark movies or Samuel L. Jackson, you absolutely must see this movie!

Although he said he wouldn't do movies with rappers, Samuel L. Jackson retracked his statement by doing this first of many movies with rappers. Side note- one of the first movies Sam did was Juice with Tupac..back to the review. This movie pretty funny to me, especially Sam's part.

This is actually a rare movie. Like in Snakes on a Plane Samuel L. Jackson gives a speech about how he has had it with the Sharks. One difference, none of the sankes eat him.

The sharks in this movie for some reason still creap me out if I watch it. Samuel L Jackson gets eaten by a shark, need I say more?

The movie isn't all they great. The sharks are scary and smart but the whole movie wasn't all that good to me. The only thing I have to say is check out Carter Blake the shark expert (Thomas Jane). Count how many times he falls, I think in every scene he was in he always seems to be falling down. I think it was funny.
