I've been buying Definitive Technology products for years. This center channel is just an example of the quality this great company puts out. Crisp, clear and very much in sync with the rest of my setup. The sale price was definitely a motivator. this was a Best Buy!

Excellent , I was using a Onkyo front channel speaker prior to the Def Tex What adifference. Thanks to Drew at the Baldwin NY store who introduced me to Definitive Technology system I now have a premium audio system and it's sooooooooo cool. He has been so helpful, if you're reading this and live on Long Island NY this is the person to see

This is a good mid range center speaker from Definitive, better than the smaller center speaker of theirs. The highers are better than the lower range center speaker. This center speaker goes well with the matching ST-8020/8040 floor speakers but a little bit lacking with the ST-8060 speakers which I eventually got and went to the CS-8060 to match.

Get sound from this center. It's rather large but solid! Woofer on top helps if you have a smaller sub.

Clean dialogue, great center channel overall. A little on the big size. Just make sure you have room.

Great sounding pairs well with my 8060 towers. Needs a lot of space.

This was my first DT purchase and I am impressed. The video dialogue is crisp and clear. There are speakers in the front and on the top, so be cautious when Placing them in a entertainment cabinet and make sure you have clearance above.

went into best buy looking for a sound bar. One of the associates took me into the magnolia speaker room to show me some high end speakers. The difference was absolutely noticeable and well worth the money. From the vocals to the sound of a splintering branch, the experience couldn't be any better. Well worth it if you got it.

I had a smaller center speaker I thought sounded good. I read about this being better and I am so glad I ordered it. It sounds so much better than the one I had before. Easy to set up, it is a pretty large speaker so make sure you have the space to put it and it needs 1 to 2 inch clearance at the top.

I walked into Best Buy to talk with a salesman about purchasing a Samsung curved sound bar for my new Samsung 65" 4K Smart Curved LED Ultra HDTV. His comment was that many people buy awesome TVs and then pair them with sound bars. His comment was that Samsung is not a speaker company. And that sound bars, in general, are pretty poor. After spening a lot of money on a great TV, it's worth completing the experience by purchasing a superior audio system. He brought me into the Magnolia demo room and played the Definitive Technology bipolar speakers. They sounded great. It turned out that the speakers were on sale for half off their original price. I bought two BP-8040ST towers along with the corresponding CS-8040 center speaker. I wanted to buy two matching surround speakers from the same family, but they were no longer available from anywhere at Best Buy. Instead, I purchased two PROSAT 800 surround speakers. The sound from the entire system is awesome. While the speakers, plus a Yamaha receiver, certainly cost more than a sound bar, the old adage holds true: you get what you pay for. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Definitive Technology speakers.

Waiting 15years since my last home theater upgrade, I decided to take it up a notch with Definitive Technology..this center channel is simply amazing. Full, bold sound provides depth to my towers and surrounds. You won't be disappointed!

This is one of best sounding Center Channels I have every owned! Having owned Polk, Mirage, and Klipsch. However, be advised this speakers is HUGE- when I went to pick it up at BEST BUY I was like WOW this thing is package very well not knowing the speaker was most of the box LOL ( it was packaged well also). It did need some time to break-in though I would say around 40 hrs, but once it did I was blown away. If you can get your hands on one I would highly recommend it.

I bought this to replace a Polk cs10. Nothing wrong with the Polk, but this center just was light years better. Running off a Yamaha RX-A740 receiver, this speaker gave some real presence to my sound.

Def Tech speakers rock and last forever. I have BP7000s that have been in use in my home theater for over 15 years and still sound great

Delivers strong and distinctive highs and resounding, yet balanced bass tones from the powered subs, especially on movie sources. Handles moderate volume cleanly, without distortion.

I returned this for the CS-8060. I did play this and it sounded above average when is comes to center channels. I just wanted the extra active subwoofer that the CS-8060 has.

Excellent speaker wish I bought it sooner been looking to get it since last year finally got it while on sale makes my surround sound system complete play it loud and clear

Found this on sale after Christmas. It is a great replacement for the old center and now can hear voices clearly in movies over the background sound effects.

So far I'm enjoying the crisp sound coming out this speaker. I went with the 8040 setup to the 8060 super towers. It's pleasing to hear.

I purchased this center channel speaker because if fit well into my tv console and sounds awesome. Love Definitive Technologies speakers.
