Definitive Technology creates superb speakers, and this sub is another winner. Great performance for the price, and a small footprint too. You'll love it!

I was looking for a sub to put at the back of my theater room that would help the back row feel the base. This is hitting so hard i had to put small pads in the back of my pictures because they were rattling. Now this was the second sub in the system so the two really rocked the house.

This subwoofer is very powerful for the size, but there seems to be a power issue since it turns of randomly from time to time.

I had a 12 inch subwoofer that barely fit into my home theater cabinet that went bad. I was looking to replace it with a similar one. I read the reviews on the super cube and I thought I would give it a try. Boy was I ever impressed! for the size ( which freed up more space for me) it produced much better sound than my old 12 inch sub woofer.

A friend of mine had one, and I loved it so I purchased my own when we bought our house. It's in the main living space in our home and it's amazing. Sound quality is amazing. Very easy to set up. As I did have to return the very first one I purchased. Just went dead randomly. But of course best buy came through with their return and we got the new one. It is very good to look at as well.

Purchased to replace a Definitive Pro Sub 80 (purch. in 2002) that became "HUMMMMMMMMY!" The Installation and Setup is as close to being "GEICO.COM-compliant" as possible: place the unit on the floor in the desired location, set the "Input Level" control to "midway" (I taped mine down so it wouldn't "self-adjust" from vibrations), connect a shielded RCA cable between the sub's "LFE IN" jack and your receiver's "SUBWOOFER OUT" jack, then plug the sub into AC power. THAT'S IT - it's "ready to go"! Of course, it's best to use your receiver's "test tone" to "calibrate" the sub. If you have a Very Recent receiver (I have a Denon AVRS-730H), let the receiver do the calibrating! Anyhoo, this little box packs a BIG "Bass PUNCH"! it's also VERY "SMOOTH" with music - no "booming" and such, just a very satisfying low-end "fill-in" that, depending on what is being played, will give you "goose bumps". My "listening area" is my Living Room, which measures (approx.) 12' x 15' and this sub is PERFECT for this area! if your listening area is LARGER, go with the NEXT LARGER model "Super Cubes".

I was a bit concerned about the ability of the small size to fill my large room. After connecting the sub and calibrating it, I am totally impressed with the musicality. It does not go quite as low as a larger subwoofer, but is impressive for the small size and is a great compromise. Two thumbs up!

This DefTec sub has amazing sound for a fairly small cube! It sounds just as good at home as in the magnolia theater!! I’ve got it paired with B&W 703 S2 and a Denon X3700H. Amazing BT songs, FM tuner, and all movies!! Easy 5 star Had it 3-4 weeks and love it

I really like my cube 2000 sub woofer, just like the Magnolia sales rep said, you get a lot of ‘ bang for the buck’ it’s small and has a great appearance, I bought 2 of them for great bass sound at a reduced volume level, for better quality than this sub, you’ll probably spend $1,000 plus,I also used gold tip connectors for maximum sound.

Fills my large great room with deep base sound that makes watching everything much more enjoyable. Hard to believe this little cube can make such a difference. The BB rep that recommended it based on our conversation about price and performance was right about this product. Love everything about it. Couldn't be happier with it.

Small sub that packs a nice punch. Not too bass-y but gives a tight punch. Perfect for movies and music.

Have had my Definitive’s for 20 years, my Powerfield 1500 amp stopped working so O bought this one on special. It’s decent, but does not compare to previous sub. Will be getting new Definitives one of these years, but they keeping hitting hard and playing clear 20 years later, and this sub does add more deep base than BP 2004’s by themselves.

I love the compact size and the fact it delivers such a good bass response but I dont like the fact that you pretty much have to turn the bass knob a bit pass halfway to get the boom your looking for and since you have to do so the you can only turn your receiver up so much otherwise the sub cant handle the power and shuts off and my receiver is only 700 watts the sub is 650 watts max and I believe 300 rms

Forget the size. Super bass from this cube. This subwoofer provides superior LFE response for movies without the need to drive it at high volume levels. I considered this the best performer for the price when compared with other subwoofers between 8 and 10 inches. Perfect for my medium sized room with the volume control set at half.
