Putting together a new Home Theater system is not an easy task. People have different viewing and listening preferences and sometimes a one brand solution may not provide the ultimate satisfaction for the value. I had done some research online and selected a different subwoofer. I had the great fortune of having a seriously knowledgeable salesman help me get the job done. He explained the differences, asked about my preferences and highly recommended the Definitive Technology Super Cube. I was not familiar with the brand but trusted the advice I was given. It is perfect for my room and setup. It is remarkably small for the output against what I was accustomed to. It mated very well with the Marantz receiver. Just a note about my salesman, it has been some time since I have been so impressed with the knowledge, courtesy and efficiency with which any transaction was handled. Kudos to BestBuy for havinf such a fine young man on staff and so well trained.

Last summer I bought some Definitive Technology front and center channel speakers. This was the perfect compliment to those speakers. I've had a Supercube in the great room for a few years and I expect this sub to be just as good. Rarely do they go on sale , but I got lucky during Magnolia audiofest.

I have a large living area where I setup my system. This subwoofer provides amazing bass sound quality throughout the large space without overpowering the space. I also have it placed inside a cabinet and the sound is unaltered. Amazing quality!

I bought this little subwoofer to fit in a entertainment center in my living room to fill the void that my small def tech bookshelf and center channel were missing. I can not stress enough how glad l am with this little powerhouse it fills the soundscape perfectly,couldn't be happier.

I paired this with the wireless system and it enables me to move it to an area of the living room where it is not seen but heard. The true bass comes out when watching movies , listening to music

I was keptic concerning the price, but after I purchased this product it completed my set. 4 Bose speakers (2 front, 2 back), Towers & Wilkens center speaker and this awesome sounding bass. Now I can feel my music, hear all my shows like there near me. It worth the extra money if you want the best

I needed something to add punch to movies and music but don't have a lot of room for a medium to large sub. I have other Definitive Tech stuff and really like them. After hearing this sub in the Magnolia room I knew it was work. Not cheap but I plan on keeping this for a long time.

I purchased this subwoofer with very little expectation... Boy was I wrong! The sound is clean and will work well in small to medium rooms. The larger the area, the more I would recommend a larger subwoofer. Overall, this sub blends nicely with satellite speakers in smaller rooms.

This super cube 2000 complements my other DT super towers and my super cube 8000 and center channel. Bought since my Denon receiver has two sub woofer connections. I would recommend.

I wasn't aware of the Definitive Technology - Supercube 2000 7-1/2 650w Powered Subwoofer until our sale rep. Justin introduced the product. He demoed it and it was impressive! You get a lot of bang for the buck! It definitely does not disappoint -- not for movies or music.

Great subwoofer. This is the 2nd time I've purchased this sub, first for my home theater in basement, and now for to replace the components in my living room. Sound is perfect...well worth the price.

Wow I can't believe how much bass comes out of this little sub. When I got it I thought it was too small for my theater room. But then I plugged it in to my Sony ES receiver and it blew me away! Great buy in my book!

I set this up in my office with a pair of Demand D7s and it's far superior to the Supercube III I have in my living room- musical, great bass for movies, just all around a great speaker, especially if you can catch it on sale in the $400 range.

This sub is freaking powerful!! I have a Sonos that I thought was sick (and it is). The Denon blows it out of the water. Lows, power, punch and it’s a few hundred dollars cheaper! I still love my Sonos though.

This little guy can put out some decent base. When I went to the store to hear them they were blown. Seems they had some electrical surge. Anyway, took the chance because they were on sale and glad I did.

Packs a big punch. Sounds good and makes the floor rumble a little. Worth the money.

I've used Velodyne subs for years, but I heard this little cube and decided to give it a try. I love it. This little cube rocks. Whether it's music or movies this little cube does a great job of bringing out the bass. I would buy again.
