I have the Supercube 4000 for the home theater and decided to get the Supercube 2000 for a bedroom system. It's missing quite a few features from the 4000, but it's also 300 dollars cheaper. The features I miss from the 4000 are the remote control and digital display. The performance is more than adequate for a medium sized bedroom, and the small size makes placement so easy.

Definitive technology has come up with a outside of the box, box. Instead of a larger (10”, 12”, 15”, 18”) speaker and bigger cabinet, the super cube is a smaller long throw speaker to compensate air movement. There is desent low end, but unfortunately with the long throw you lose that punch response time. There is also lag of the bass kicking in when watching your favorite movies and shows. I think for a 10’ X 15’ room with an 8 foot ceiling, this would be a great speaker. For the price point I would spend a little more for a 15” speaker

Great product and great addition to your speaker arsenal

Purchased sub for a 9.2 theater system I own and it does not let you down. I hosted the Super Bowl at my place and everyone enjoyed the sound created through out the room. I own a Marantz and set up every speaker with the mic and when it came to the sub, I actually had to turn it down to the right levels. I reviewed A lot of subs and this guy was my top pick so don't hesitate to purchase. You won't be let down.

Great small and packs a punch outstanding for a homemade surround sound

This little sub packs a mean punch! All of my friends could not believe that this sub was the only sub that I had in my media room! I loved this sub so much that My wife purchased another one for me for my birthday alone with a new receiver! So now I have two super cubes with Deep, clear and loud sound! Be ready for your wall decor to shake!

Amazing sound, compact size. Easy to set up and use.

This is my second subwoofer. The subwoofer produce the best effect and you can feel the thunder in the basement. It is in compact in size but performance is amazing. Moreover this is my first definitive sound system and every penny is worth spending on this subwoofer.

I've been looking to replace my old Klipsch sub that finally died. I'd been given a personal recommendation, and listened to Definitive Tech's SuperCube at a friend's house. When it went on sale- I made my move, and I'm not sorry at all. Yes- they are a little pricey, but the sale softened the blow a little bit. For the size of this sub- you can't beat it.
