So glad i got these! Especially since they were half off! And i got the topper speakers for free which those alone were 500.00 amazing sound and quality!

I did my research and came to to realize that Definitive Technology was the way to go, these were already on sale but a week after I bought them they went on an even better sale and Best Buy didn't hesitate to honor their price match policy, great speakers and excellent service.

Great sound quality and does not require a lot of space. The price is a little high but the sound demo sold me.

These are great sounding speakers. They look very attractive as well, not bulky. Annoying Best Buy kept dropping the price right after I purchases. I did get them to price match once but not after 14 days elapsed. Much better bargain now than what I paid

I really enjoyed listening to music through these speakers. They have great sound and response to what is played through them.

These are outstanding tower speakers. Incorporating the 10" powered subwoofer in the lower section of the tower, not only saves floor space, but adds great sound balance with the main front channel speakers in the upper section.

I made the mistake of listening to these speakers in the store and could not stop thinking about them. These speakers are so clear and detailed!!! Great for movies and music.

Got these speakers for a great price in the first place with price matching even though they were discontinued shortly after, but then BB rebated price diff for new discontinued pricing, lowering the price even further. What a deal. Thankyou Best Buy. It pays to be an Elite Plus member giving you price protection for a longer period after you buy.

Great sounding speaker, for a true top of the line home theater.

Good for my location but will probably need to get a subwoofer.

My buying experience was very good, but the after sales customer care was terrible!! We bought a 65" 4k Samsung TV and Definitive Technology home theater system 6/4/2015, and had Geek Squad installed. Right out of box, the speakers sub woofer are not working. Best Buy "promised" to exchange the speakers and call us back. However, from the store manger to sales assistants NO ONE called back to give us update. Let me to wondering if we are stuck with this defective speakers? Still waiting for the "working" speakers, can't rate if it is a good or bad one yet.

After 30+ years I decided to make a change from my Klipsch KG4s to a newer speakers set (and no, I'm keeping the KG4s). After reviewing a number of speakers (including Martin Logans, KEFs, upper-end Polks, B&Ws, and even a legacy Klipsch Heresy that had a much higher price) at several audio shops, I checked out the Def Tech's at BestBuy, I couldn't get over the performance of the 8060s. And at the sale price offered at BestBuy now, found them to be a real value. Have them in my listening room and on right now (KG4s are moving to another room) being driven by an Outlaw Audio receiver and a NAD cd player, and have to say that they met my every expectation. Trent at our local BestBuy was great to work with, and I appreciated his willingness to switch thru almost every speaker in the shop so that I could compare them A/B. Even his offer that I could bring my own recording in for a "test drive". I'm now letting them burn in and moving them around a bit, and will shortly be switching from the inboard crossover to that offered thru my receiver. Will most likely follow-up on this later to let all know how they perform in that way. This was not without its glitches, however. One of the speakers delivered had what I believe was a bad mid-range that created a raspy and whizzy sound (that is the best way I can describe it). Much like one might find in the old days from a busted speaker cone. Contacted our BestBuy about it, and with no questions asked, Phillip G., the Lead Technician with the store arranged for the delivery of a replacement, came to my house to deliver it and pick up the original one, and then asked that I call him and let him know how the speaker was doing after I got it set up. Great service! The kind that audio shoppe's say one can't get from a big box store. I got that kind of service. Would recommend to anyone looking for a mid-range price speaker, that will reproduce music well, give the Def Tech 8060s an ear test. I don't think you are going to find much better at this price point.

I originally purchased a full Pioneer component system consisting of 4 Pioneer tower speakers, a center channel, and subwoofer. After setting everything up, I was extremely underwhelmed with the results. I took it all back and instead decided to take advantage of Def Tech's current deal where if you purchase a set of the 8060 ST's, you get the 8040 center channel and 8040 surrounds for free. Took everything home, set it up, and can not express how amazing the sound quality is from these speakers. I am listening to all of my music on these things and hearing it like I've never heard it before. The highs and mids are so crystal clear, and the bass is full and deep, but not overpowering. The louder you turn them up, the better they sound. I have experienced zero distortion at any volume. Watching the Avengers on blu ray blew my mind. You can feel the action sequences in your chest, but still hear every single word of the dialogue. It's better than movie theater sound! So although they are pricey, I would recommend these speakers highly.
